I feel like when you bomb something, it should leave a hole. Hopefully in some upcoming patches there can be a bit more deconstruction when damage occurs. Another great build!
That would require either TONS of hard work or an entire engine rewrite, either one wouldnt be good for the devs or the game unless everyone in the community wants more damage.

Individual blocks can be damaged, so supposedly it wouldn't be difficult to say that when a block takes a certain amount of damage, it will be entirely destroyed. It can simply be made invisible and have its properties changed so it won't seal anymore.

I'll do this in my plane I'm currently making thank you for this idea! Also if it gets shot there so you can make weak parts of a plane! Maybe next to fuel tanks in them as well to simulate a fuel explosion. This comment gave me a lot of ideas
fun fact the reason why the machine guns on biplanes where behind the props was because if they were on the top or bottom they would force the plane to slowly pull up or down this was because of its light weight. also good vid
There were also some interesting solutions - the french had metal protection on their props to keep them save from the own bullets. The germans developed a differential gear connected between them to prevent the gun from firing when a blade is infront of the muzzle
With the talk of the carrier, may I recommend making a WW2 1944 Enterprise style aircraft carrier? I’m not sure about the weapons but I do know she had 4 or 5 inch cannons just for a little background.
A few ideas for challenges or projects such as a Dive/Torpedo bomber, and a medium or large bomber such as the B-24/17 or HE-111 etc. Also perhaps a working U-Boat/Submarine with exploding possible guided torpedo's, and working deck/AA guns from the DLC.
Watching on this red plane, there are Sabaton: Red Baron sound in my mind Oh, can you answer me? Can guns shoot through propellers? Is there any synchronization systems?
They really needed to add a flat magazine for aircraft because those drums are just to thick Also we can stuff the flat magazines into more thinner aircraft

My dude, real ships also work this way. It's why many ships were only armored at the side facing waterline.

the belts hold ammo as well, each is 1x1x3 and can be used as "flat" magazines
Only with cannons, auto cannon belts do not hold rounds
