Vodafone Idea clarified that it has not received any communication from the government regarding a potential waiver of AGR penalties. Despite this, the company's shares surged 9.11% yesterday on rumors that the government may waive off AGR penalties and interests. As of Q2FY25, Vodafone Idea's debt included ₹70,300 crore related to AGR dues.
