I think obiedience goes beyond what we think of as laws. Laws are just Laws but Obedience is a greater level of degregation that is the first commandment required to enter the Celestrial kingdom. Another example of obiedience is the connection that we share with our Heavenly Father. When we pass on the exceptance in this lifetime was to live by a greater authority in our A/C to govern the level of obiedience that we shared with the Heavenly Father in direct guidance to the things that we seek in our daily prayers. In my experience of obiedience I have sacred things that I feel inside my body and bc I feel these beautiful things I try to do the best that I can to keep better intentions of obiedience to all things as it being the most important rule to most things in my life. I have seen soo many people get stuck in their minds and hearts in how they think something is and it's by allowing yourself to fully understand the greater things when you choose to mess up in your life and then ask for forgiveness and to forgive yourself for makeing incorrect choices bc of obeying that obiedience that was first required in our actions and choices TO MAKE A BETTER CHOICE TO KEEP. I remember the spirit telling me that obiedience isn't always about keeping a specific law but it's to remember to ask the Heavenly Father about the thing that your seeking to receieve a GREATER answer to learn more about it's obiedience to a law.

I hope you get many many views. You must have put a lot of thought and prayer into scripting and producing your video. Obediance is the purpose of agency. Your explanation sheds new light and motivation. I resigned my membership 20 years back and mostly rebel against the church since because of hurt and abuse dished out upon me and my family who were trying so hard to belong but kept getting isolated and discriminated by local priesthood leadership.
I appreciate so much your knowledge, effort and time. I listened with a friend to several of your videos about the temple on our way to the temple. Many of the things I learned from you came back to memory in the sessions. I can see how me making this effort blessed my temple experiences. Bless you!!❤

I agree with what you are saying, but I would like to take you to a higher level. To understand obedience we have to first look at the Immutable laws of the universe and answer the question; What is the justice of God? The justice of God is based on the immutable laws of the universe. There are 4 characteristics of Eternal law. 1. Eternal laws are forever the same and unchangeable. It does not matter where you go in time or space, they are forever the same. They were neither created nor made and therefore cannot be uncreated or unmade or annulled 2. Eternal laws have specific effects that are also forever the same and unchangeable and those effects have certain consequences, positive and negative which are also the same and unchangeable. 3. The laws are immediately self enforcing. 4. The laws have no respect for persons. Everybody is equal under the law. The law is without feeling and it does not matter how much you know, or what you have or anything else about you. The positive and negative consequences of the law are the same for you as for everybody else. Eternal laws govern both physical things and spiritual things, so demonstrate how these characteristics work, I like to use the law of fire. 1. The law of fire is that heat, fuel and oxygen in sufficient quantities creates fire. The law is forever the same and unchangeable and it does not matter where you go in time or space, you can trust that fire will always work the same. 2. The effect of fire is that it gives off energy in the form of heat and light. The heat and light of fire can affect us either positively or negatively. Positively speaking, we use fire to warm ourselves, to cook our food, to give energy to our cars. We use fire to mold metal and power our industry. Fire is also a life force. We eat food for fuel. We breathe air for oxygen and with spark for the spirit, fuel and oxygen combine in our cells and they become internal combustion engines that give us energy to live. We can use fire to light candles so we can see in the dark. On the negative side, fire can burn us and kill us and if we stop eating or breathing too long or if we get too cold, we die. We can be blinded by intense flame. 3. The law of fire is self enforcing. Everybody that enters a heated building will benefit by the warmth. We are all equally benefited by eating and drinking and staying warm. We can all enjoy having light in dark spaces. On the other hand, everyone who puts his finger in the fire is immediately burned. Everybody who looks into an intense flame will be blinded. 4, The law of fire is the same for everybody. I'm still confused about what I am promising with the law of obedience. Am I promising to keep every law God gives? If so what are those laws, where can I get a list. I really want to follow them but it all feels so vague, any help would be appreciated!
I think it’s more about having a broken heart and a contrite spirit, remaining teachable and humble. Being flexible and willing to work at it. Then we are obedient… it’s not about having a list that we check off daily hoping we didn’t miss a jot or a tittle.

Even if the bishop tells me go ahead, shouldn't I be able to confirm that with God? I keep praying about it but I don't get any approval from God, more of the opposite. I keep thinking if I'm worthy and I humbly ask, God would have no reason not to answer me, but I don't get that approval so I don't think I'm worthy and I don't know how to change that. I'm desperate to be right with God but I feel stuck. I'd give anything

So many laws, ordinances, rituals and all you need is Jesus Christ our Savior. WE ARE RECONCILED TO God through Jesus, Isaiah 59:21 "As for Me, says the LORD, this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put to your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouths of your descendants, says the LORD, from this time and FOREVERMORE". The Mormon religion denies Christ, they do not believe in His atonement, that is why Joseph Smith made up His doctrine, please do your research because Jesus Christ is enough. they will never find peace, Romans 4:24 being justified freely by HIS GRACE, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Titus1:16 They profess to know God but in Works they deny Him (Jesus), being abominable, disobedient and disqualified for every good work.
