I remember this video mainly for Yasser's style, which led me to comment "didn't know Yasser was actually all four members of Queen"

I love that Kovacevic game. Several players in the Pacific Northwest were amazed by Duncan Suttles, a Canadian player with an unusual style. Seirawan was the best of these players, and it looked as though he channeled Suttles against Kovacevic.

I'd agree. The first one I read was Fundamentals by Cap, and My Praxis by Nim. I bought the books Yaz put out and then gave to my nephew after I read them. The brilliancies one is especially well done. Now nephew is in all of my chess books. I can't beat him anymore.
Yasser has always been one of my favorite players. His videos at St. Louis Chess Club were my favorite

They are consolidating the videos on Ben's channel, it's more likely for people to search Ben Finegold than the name of their old chess center, and probably this channel is much more active.
I don't think I've ever seen Ben on the high road... and that's the charm of his comedy

Light hearted is one thing... I didn't click to hear stand up comedy. Somehow I doubt Ben's tutor spent the whole time telling jokes. Yet, that's how we're supposed to learn. Ugh...

I just "met" GM Yasser Seirawan late last week and have been enthralled with his career and commentary. I just "met" GM Ben Finegold in this video - although his name was familiar to me. Enjoyed the video and commentary. No talking!
GM Yaz is a cool guy, I met him a couple times in person, very friendly.
Also, Yasser is a wonderful person

I agree with Ben: in online tournament games, resigning should not be allowed, for the benefit of beginners.

14:14 - regarding castling queen side. That would be very funny to watch and to educate children in Ben's lectures. Because after O-O-O, white plays Ne5 and after Qe5 plays Bf4. If queen moves from the bishop, then Ba6 is mate. So black looses the queen for the bishop or resigns.

Why would we not have read the forward in Bill Gates 21st century Edition my system by Aron nimzovich where Yasser does the forward about nimzovich which he doesn't much prefer or maybe downright dislikes it because he has something better to play or for whatever reason yessirs well-known he just unknown to you there in Georgia apparently he's known in places in Georgia I really enjoyed studying his pro chess, Mentor series it was incredibly awesome he's very methodical and goes over everything in great detail his classes are worthwhile to pay attention to

Vladimir Kovacevic was a very good player from Yugoslavia, he beat Bobby Fischer for example and many others
If resignations were forbidden, I can imagine hilarious situations where the losing side helps the winning side mate him in the fewest possible moves.
