I remember the BMO tower as a child in the 80s. Toronto only had a few skyscrapers back then. There are some towers under construction now that will overtake it as the highest.
TD Bank Tower. Unbeatable example of the International Style and the fullest expression of Mies van der Rohe's vision. Honourable mention to Commerce Court North. But to name structures other than skyscraper buildings: the CN Tower, Old City Hall, University College.

As far as I'm aware it is _never_ called Calgary City. I can find no trace of that phrase online. I can't agree with the rest of your comment either, although I can say the Calgary skyline is fairly attractive. Nothing against Calgary. I like it and wish it well.👍

In 2011 First Canadian Place was not reclad in Carrera marble. The marble was removed, and it is now clad in glass.
