Once again, super relatable. I have been feeling a strong urge to move somewhere else during my transition and discover myself without having to come out and explain myself to everyone I know. I am just not quite ready for that yet. I need to know who I am before I can start to explain that to people who have "known" me before I really knew me. Idk if that makes sense. yoooo i’m non-binary and live in nyc! i was just having a convo about how this city is great for letting you feel anonymous/alone, esp during transition. how lucky that ur family has an apartment here already, that’s amazing - finding housing here, esp while transitioning, is very difficult. if u ever want to update ur pronouns/name/whatever, queer circles here are very respectful of that stuff :) if you need to meet other tgnc people here feel free to reach out!
