This is so nostalgic to me in fact is almost Deja Vu as this reminds me of when Norah toured with "The Handsome Band" except for the piano riffs as a solo in the middle of the song that makes my experience more of a nostalgia then a Deja Vu. Hello Nojo .. I see you have two sites now .. & I have subscribed to both .. ( by the way I don't really require any answer / or even a hello .. purely one way comments .. honestly ) Having made that clear I am in Lockdown & my wife & I are both in vulnerable categories health wise .. but I have always been a bit of a loner / recluse .. ( my wife is missing company more than I do ) .. But we live in a strange little part of England The Forest of Dean .. Supposedly where Tolkein used to take walking holidays & where he got the setting for the Shire where the Hobbits live .. very odd little corner .. with almost it's own little weather zone .. very poor wi fi & mobile phones don't work in a lot of places .. But yesterday I had a bit of a breakthru with my computer Tinkering & I was able to link small Mini new thing to my t.v. in my Bedroom .. & I spent a lovely afternoon discovering lots more old Norah stuff .. lot's I had never seen / heard B4 .. your version of Summertime .. ( audio 0nly ) had me in tears .. childhood memories of Porgy & Bess .. & I adored the video for Tradgedy .. with the girl roller blading .. ( my eyes aren't that gr8 ) I know it was you at the end shot .. but can you skate like that ? .. lol ... Anyway Lots of records you have made over the years I have never heard b4 .. at one time my wife & I lived in/ on a small farm in the Welsh mountains with six cats six ducks six chickens & two collie dogs & I had a studio in a chalet .. But I was a complete recluse then .. Moonlight walks to a magical Rowan tree by a well with the dogs & cats & more stars than ever .. But my spinal injuries .. meant a move & we landed here in the Forest .. since the Virus etc .. your music & lots of others Tedeschi Trucks Band .. is a big favourite .. & so many more I was born in the 50's & lived thru the 70's but not really a person who keeps up with Pop etc .. But I write every day ( pretensions towards being a novelist since my childhood ) & I love art photography .. Dance ... etc I only started learning key's not a real piano .. when I could not play guitar so well anymore .. arthritis etc .. & watching you up close recently has been like a free lesson .. I have taught myself how to play a 12 bar in 12 keys cycle of 5ths .. as a kind of way of developing .. but the stride style is beyond me so far .. Thank you so much for all the inspiration & all the joy that even the sad songs give .. it's lovely to know there are still real musicians out there .. have you heard of Tal Wilkenfeld .. a crazy talent .. lol ..
