- My friend Ti wanted to put some carbon fiber parts on her Alfa Romeo 4C and asked I would be willing to help. This was a new one for me as I generally don't do much work on the looks of a car. The carbon pieces needed to be epoxied over the old composite parts. It ended up being a fairly simple job that dramatically improved the look of the car! I think she's pretty happy with the results!

Back in the day of my '67 Alfa GTV, my customization was accomplished with a spray can of Matte Black Rustoleum.

Omg epoxy why not double sided tape ☺️ or even glass bond is easier to use as it sets less quickly giving you more time to align the trim

The reason the Alfa design team didn't use carbon fibre there, is because those panels have to match the appearance of the roof section. which is a matte surface.
To keep that same consistency with the dress up kit, really requires removing the factory soft top and replacing it with a carbon fibre shell.

This is partially true, as the windshield frame is CF. so the soft roof is indeed matte and matches better the black roll bar, but then you have the windshield. So, at this point, better to have the windshield and the roll bar in CF and then the soft top. Even better if you have then CF hardtop, but you can't put it in the trunk

Carbon fiber top on the spider is a dealer option. The Koshi CF add-ons are only needed if the car was not originally optioned with CF. When are you getting your own 4C Dan ? perfect complement to any Ferrari ;)
I doubt I'll ever get one, but I want to try driving one.
Normal Guy Supercar I drove these via Turo twice and through the years just kept going back to how fun it was and ended up getting one. For tight twisty roads I prefer it even over my 488, it is just more fun and nimble. Nothing beats a Ferrari though on the long winding open road though :)

Yes, it does look good! I really like the look of the Alpha 4C. I would have applied the glue to the car's surface, that way the carbon piece would be easier to handle while positioning it on the car. I have a suggestion for your videos when having new guests on; how about a proper introduction and a few from them words about their car??? Would help understand what's going on... As in who are they, what are you going to do, why is it being done, etc...

Just the coupe version of the 4C is being dropped from the U.S. lineup as I recall. The targa model will still be sold.
