- For the first time ever, I had all of my vintage sleds running and out in the snow for a bit of a shake down. Kinda like my own vintage show! (except I can't pick a winner...Help me out and list your favorite in the comments!) I decided to memorialize this feat and do a little video and tell some back-story about each one starting from the 1970 Panther and ending with the 1983 Cross Country.
1970 Panther 295
1971 Polaris Charger 398
1972 Polaris Charger SS 530
1974 Polaris TX 250
1980 Polaris TX-L
1980 Polaris TX 340
1983 Polaris Cross Country 340 (TX-L)
Those are nice...That Panther is stunning...
Thanks! Here is a ride on that Panther - th-cam.com/video/cMrK8NDAtJo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=niEA0Opuc-4iEaaP
You did a beautiful job with those sleds. Like showroom. Kudos.
@@fredstanton9423 Thanks so much!
You have a handful of fun right their! Very nice sleds. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
nice collection!
Thanks!
Had 79 Centurion 500cc liquid cooled triple! Incredibly fast for it's day!
For sure! I had an 80.
Dad had a Polaris Charger 396 , that’s what I remember , you said 398 , but I was little then , maybe #8 wasn’t on Sesame Street yet ? Nice collection !
Yeah, they bring back memories for sure. Thanks for watching!

Nice sleds. They made the 72 body style for 73 also. I had a ss 400 1972 model and I currently have a 73 charger 400 fan. Great sleds
Thanks! Those free-airs are really cool!
I also had a 73 custom 530 fan
..was a beast
I’ve never ridden a 530 fan.
@paulcameron3567 torque monster for its time
My dad had one it sucked gas and went through a lot of tracks
Cool stuff!
If you had to pick one...?
@@paulcameron3567 the 1972 SS
very nice collection
Thanks! I think of it as a cool sled for any occasion.
Awesome
Thanks!
Some good looking sleds there! I'm working on building a Cross Country myself. Let me know if you want to sell that windshield. 😁😁
Thanks!
I’m looking forward to getting to the Cross Country for sure. Yeah, those original windshields are hard to come by. I will probably buy an aftermarket windshield to use and keep the original one for shows.
Had a 1980 TX440, was very quick.
The last year for the 440 TX. Nice!
1971 AMF 650 red baron...never lost a race. My neighbor was a Rupp fan, was afraid of it.
Nice
@@rodneycody8746 Thanks!
I'm not familiar w/ what year is what but I watched the Disney ~snowball express~ and looked like some of these on that movie??
I’m not familiar with the movie but I would guess there were probably Arctic Cats in it.
Would have been nice if you opened the hoods. Thanks for the vid.
I thought of that. Those old Charger hoods are a pain. They lift completely off and it’s too hard to do while holding the camera. I should do a detailed video for each one. Thanks for watching!
