This video is unbelievably special to me. It's what got me into listening to potsu as well as watching Tamako Market (and anime in general). It was exactly three years ago and during covid lockdown. Everytime I watch this video, it takes me back to that era and I'm just filled with an incredible amount of nostalgia. It's hard to believe that so much time has passed since. A lot has changed too and I'm not sure if I should feel happy or sad. Despite things being much better now, I still miss a lot from back then. I hope this video stays up for years to come so I'm able to look back and engulf in the memories I've had from 2020.

This song and the video reminded me of all the good time we had together. We were always the loud and annoying group of friends in class, but we didn't care about what people think and just keep on making dumb jokes and chasing each other like little kids. I wouldn't say I regret making the decision to not trust them anymore, but I wish I could just go back to those days, when there were no lies, no doubts and no hate between us.

I had just realized that k-on, (love, chunnibyo and other delusions) and this anime were all made by the same studio and I love that because I love k-on and chunnibyo so I have a strong feeling that I’ll love this anime too. Thank you for adding to my watch list (I’m actually going to watch this tho)

KyoAni was a company of only about 160 people, and 34 died. at least another 30 are injured severely enough that they may never be able to draw again. Those who weren't injured physically will still suffer psychologically and nobody could blame someone who quits after a tragedy like that. they lost all their print materials at the studio, and only recovered the digitals from the on location server. the company probably won't entirely shut down, but it was their main studio and they've already lost multiple directors. the fundraisers are a nice thought but the 2 million that has been raised so far wouldn't even cover the construction cost of repairing the studio. some of that will be covered by insurance, but what was lost can't even be put to monetary value. kyoani isn't a building, it _was_ a collection of many of the most talented animators and directors in japan. we don't even know how many of them are dead right now.
