This would be so much more helpful if it had audio instructions, if it went slower, and also if the cursor was highlighted. There's no explanation why you set it up this way. Kind of confusing.
I am sorry, but the majority of Mac users are on the newest build. How do you connect the X-Pen to a 2016 and up MacBook Pro?
For all y’all Mac users the same thing happened to me, all y’all got to do is press the folder that u downloaded from XP pen and right click and press rename. Don’t erase the name they gave u, add in “.zip” in it. It should work then.
I'm having a hard time getting the screen to show up on the tablet. I had to get a lightening cable to hdmi adapter. Everything is plugged up and when I use the pen on the tablet it will control the screen. But the program won't show on the tablet

So I just got my tablet today, and I can't get it to map onto a single display for the life of me. I try using it on photoshop but it keeps trying to control the stuff on my other screen. I've tried using the control panel to bind it, but it doesn't seem to do anything. How do I get it to stay on it's own display?
I have exactly the same issue, when I touch the tablet sceen with the stylus, it keeps clicking on my macbook screen, same on issue on an iMac... I have to duplicate my Mac screen but I can't separate both of otherwise the tablet itself is useless... I'm disapointing, I receveid it today and it's impossible to use it correctly :/
@@midmidori I did manage to somewhat "resolve" the issue, only it seemingly involves a mixture of constantly closing the utility software and reopening it and changing the active area around a couple times as well as changing the display setting between duplicating and extending. Eventually, it just seems to decide that it wants to work the way I want it to, and it frustrates me that once I'm done and shut the device off, the issues arise the next time I go to use it.
After calibration my screen goes dark, then after I unplugged the xpen I lost my background picture on my pc!
Not happy the set up isn't as easy as this for me.
The manual was written by a five year old and the words are so small, my eyes are fine but damn! Ants would find this hard to read.

Hi XP Pen. Can you recommend which adapter to use for vga and dvi. I want a 15.6 pro but do not have hdmi port :(
Hi, there is no special requirement on the adapter, make sure the USB&HDMI cable can be plugged into are ok.
@@XPPen MacBooks haven't had HDMI ports for years... my 2016 MacBook Pro only has USB-C ports...
imamonster shrugs you can order online for an hdmi adaptor to your Mac (make sure to specifically right the version of your Mac)

Did you figure it out? I can't get it to display on the tablet yet, even though I bought the adapter, it seems like it simply doesnt have the capabilities on my Mac. I might have to buy a whole new MacBook older version with HDMI port
Hello! We bought the same tablet but can't turn it on on a laptop. They invited a specialist, he said that there is no network, that the laptop does not read the graphics tablet, that the cable does not work. Could the cable not work? Or is there another problem? Recently purchased the 15.6 Pro and currently trying to set up. Screen mirrors fine, but having issue with pen on display....@1:55 After downloading driver and opening .dmg on my MAC, I am NOT shown the .pkg file to run the install. It only asks to drag folder to Applications, but is that the same thing? I'm concerned it's not installing correctly causing the display not to "read" the pen.

@@loumaire2367 I did actually, and without much XP service help... what i did was follow System Preference>Security & Privacy>Privacy>Accessibility. There should be a check box option for 'PenTabletDriverUX'. Enabling this should allow the pen/tablet to control the cursor, at least that's what worked for me. Good luck troubleshooting

No, you can just use an adapter that supports both usb and hdmi...hope this helps
Can it be powered via usb? without a power supply.
It can't be opened on M2 Pro chip. It said quit unexpectedly, when reopen it's still tell the same.

you have to buy an adapter. MacBook Air's don't take the regular HDMI cords. It has a mini port.
I'm very sorry, but my mac is a MacBook Air, 2017, Version 10.13.6, and it is definitely not the model in this video, and I'm really worried because I paid a lot for this and I don't think I can plug it in my mac to use, please help!

Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI is recommended.
Same problem for me, I only have two Thunderbolt 3 ports. Should I only buy an HDMI to Thunderbolt 3 adapter or in addition a usb to Thunderbolt 3
the hardest step honestly is connecting the one usb that dosent fit in any of the slots. (the one big usb thetas connected to all 3 of the one bit in triple cable.) it literally dosent fit in any of the usb's.
This video is pretty useless... it’s super fast the person is just waving the cursor around hitting all kinds of buttons, guessing to show functions, but not sure which is what or why...
Does XP-Pen Artist 15.6 works softwares eg camtasia, sketchbook?
Hi, the Artist 15.6(Pro) are compatible with sketchbook. The camtasia is a recording program, our tablet would works like a mouse. :)

Hi, I meant the the camtasia is a recording program, right? There is not too much function setting there, you could use our tablet as a mouse there. :) It is compatible.
@Zakiir Osman: do you mean as a display to interact with in the program? Such as drag and switch between panels/options? It works like a mouse according to Xp-pen so I'd assume so, maybe no drag perhaps. But don't expect a full experience beyond that I'm afraid 😔get something you know works or ask around more before purchasing this. Good luck.
@@XPPen hi, I just bought an xp-pen artist 15.6 pro and it doesn't even work. i payed so much for a tablet which doesn't even work from te start. the drawing tablet does turn on but my programs won't even show up on the tablet, it's very frustrating. I've tried everything but nothing works. also when I try to move the pen on my tablet it's only moving on my laptop instead of my tablet. first it did move on my tablet but then I got something on my screen telling me I had to klick on an empty space next tp the shift button but I don't have that so I skipped it and now it doesn't work at all. please help me out, I really wanna be able to draw on the tablet I payed so much for, or else I just threw my money away.

No idea what's going on here. I'm so lost
i got my 15.6 pro today and so far it seems fine. however after i restart my computer all my configs are gone and even though i saved my config in a *.plist i just cannot load it. I have to remap the buttons every time i restart the computer. i'm on a macbook pro 17 with MacOS 10.14.6

@@XPPen I had the same issue. The driving XP-Pen is recommending seems to have worked. What is the difference between the express setting keys in the config, VS keyboard set in the setting? I'm confused on that one

How can I set an express key to ALT? It's not in the list of options on Mac.

What if you didn’t have a hdmi spot on your Mac so you used a adaptor now there is no usb spot for the other wire? What do I do?

So you see I used the adaptor, and there are two wires now. Black and red. I don’t use the red and I connected the black wire to the usb spot on the other side
@@kristine123abc just to confirm you only need one usb(black) and one hdmi connected for it to work

can this run opentoonz? what programs cant it use, i dont know how these drawing tablets work. is it like another monitor that you can draw and click on as long as its connected to a computer?

Make sure that your computer doesn't have the display setting to anything other than 100%

Hi, sorry? It is a bit hard for us to get it. You could use an adapter to work on the Artist 15.6Pro, make sure the USB cable and HDMI cable could be connected to the adapter/your PC.

hi xp pen I'm very disappointed with my new artist 10s because the left-hand side of the screen doesn't work every time I try to draw as soon as it gets to the left side it seems to jump the part of the screen and draw a straight line when I contacted customer support they told me the warranty just ended and that they could not help anyone who is buying a drawing tablet please just spend $100 more and buy a Wacom because for $290 the xp pen 10s is a piece of garbage.

XP-Pen: I would have hoped he'd done that. But he's moved on and I hope it works out. As for me I actually like your products have the 15.6 pro. Only thing I'd change is the included stand (wish it was adjustable) but not a problem I purchased a new one problem solved. & maybe a sticker of something to slap on my sketchbook.

This thing was working fine after two days but after that my pen stopped working I used a 15.6 pro tablet what is wrong I tried everything unplugging restarting not using it in a while
