I've come from Ben's channel and I'm staying!
Thank you so much, it is greatly appreciated! Hope you like my videos going forward, great to have you with us!
Yayyyy, so glad you’ve done the tag! Loved hearing your thoughts.
Absolutely don’t need to read Huck Finn before James - I watched an animated TH-cam summary though 😅
Funnily enough, reading Giovanni’s Room at the moment.
No way! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it, I have no excuse not to read that or James now haha !
I don’t think that I’m going to read Huck Fin before I read James. I really, really want to get to Sociopath, I’ve heard such interesting things. I will be reading Knife very soon.
Okay neither am I, I feel like you are my Booktube guru and I must follow your path haha! Sociopath was such an interesting read I would love to know your thoughts! Knife is very high on my list too.
Came from Ben's channel. So good to find you! And no, not necessary to read Huck Finn before James. I didn't and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 💜
Thank you so much for coming over! And that seems to be the consensus so I might just have to get stuck in ASAP!
I really want to read Knife. I completely agree about 5 stars, a book has to absolutely blow me away to deserve it.
Absolutely! I am hard to please haha and I am aiming to get Knife read in the next few months for sure!
So pleased I've found your channel. Used to love listening to you on the podcast with Hannah! Off to binge watch all of your videos now 😃
Fantastic! I'm so glad you've found me again haha! please do spread the word and share if possible it really does mean the world! Enjoy! x
Ididnt read huckfinn or any summaries before and really enjoyed James. Then after i enjoyed reading a summaty and being surprised by what was changed.
That's actually a great idea! Might just have to get to it soon now!
I read James cold & totally enjoyed it!
Fantastic news, i'm not sure I have the time or brain capacity to delve into Huck Finn too haha !
I think you could read the Wikipedia version of Huck Finn and be ready to read James, which is one of my favorite books of the year.
Ooooh now that is high praise! It has definitely jumped up my TBR list now!
I'm stingy with 5 stars too! Knife and Martyr on my tbr this year. I might add Headshot too :)
Okay you just HAVE to read Headshot and then let me know what you think! If you are in any doubt the New York Time Book Podcast just dedicated an episode to it and it is spoiler free but a great summary of why it's a fab read!
I don’t necessarily think you need to read Huck before James but I did reread it as it had been over 60 years since I read it…maybe just read a in-depth synopsis…I’m in the middle of James and loving it…try Books, Ink & Paper…Laurie is a sweetheart. You might like her?
Thank you so much for the recommendation, I will check them out. Looks like i'll be getting to James ASAP!
Finished James… extraordinary, and the last line is a gut punch!
Oh my goodness I have to get to it!
