- This video covers the use of a Helmholtz coil to deflect an electron beam as JJ Thomson would have done to determine the charge to mass ratio of the electron.
Done in collaboration with Simon Crook (Crooked Science) and Tom Gordon (University of Sydney)

what was the math that gave us the ratio? Is there an article I can read on it to better understand the mass?
