"Career Milestones is a 108-card set patterned after the infamous Topps Moments & Milestones sets of the late 2000s. Each one of the 108 cards in the set depicts a career statistical achievement for the stated player. The number of cards produced is equivalent to the card's particular statistical achievement, and each is serial-numbered (incorrectly) as a one-of-one. For example: Going into the 2017 season, Miguel Cabrera had hit 446 career home runs; therefore, there are 446 Miguel Cabrera HR Career Milestones cards, one for each career homer, all numbered as ones-of-one. Despite the serial-numbering, BCP does not consider any of the cards in the Career Milestones set to be "true" ones-of-one and consider the Miguel Cabrera card in the previous example to be serial-numbered to 446 copies. The aggregate production runs for each card are listed below. Career Milestone are randomly inserted into packs at the rate of 1:12; however, collectors who send a 24 (one full box) Honus Bonus wrappers will receive a third Career Milestones card."
Bro the Grandy man Curtis Granderson is no slouch… he hit like 350 home runs had like 1000 RBI’s made like 3 or 4 all star teams and won other awards like the Clemente and probably a few silver sluggers I think hes one of three or four to do it and the last player in the mlb as of now to join the 20/20/20/20 club that’s 20 homer runs 20 stolen bases 20 doubles and 20 triples in the same season, him and Jimmy Rollins did it in the same year (Rollins won mvp with those stats too btw) but they were the first players to do it in like 50 years I think Willie Mays was the second, pretty sure someone else did it like back in the 1910’s or 20’s but I have no idea what his name is I just remember reading an article about it. But yeah Grandy is legit he even led the league in runs batter in once or twice and had also received votes for MVP in if a had to guess around 4 different years some being first place votes which aren’t easy to get super mega hall of fame stars have went whole careers without getting a single 1st place mvp vote I know for a fact in 2011 he had a legit shot at winning it but that’s the year Verlander had to go off an become damn near untouchable with pin point accuracy thus claiming the greatest picture of his time status and a rare pitcher mvp award also that year Jose Bautista more then likely was the only other American leaguer to finish above Granderson he also had a crazy year and was probably the only player other then Miguel Cabrera that was as or close to as productive at the plate and Curtis I knew the man doesn’t hold a ton of value but he had collectors out there and like you said a 1 of 1 is a 1 of 1. it has to be worth something to someone
Hey, I gotta ask; do you just not care about the hobby packs or do you not know the difference between hobby and retail? You seem to treat hobby packs just like a retail pack. I'm just curious.
@@jeffguybersen lol-Yes, Sometimes I just open and don’t pay much attention since it’s just for opening and checking out the cards. But in these it can make a difference for value of packs so I get that it would matter more in a value context.
@@bustinboxes I made the comment after you opened up all the boxes. But later in the video, I noticed you acknowledged the hobby packs. I personally don't buy this stuff anymore because I learned my lesson. You never pull anything of value out of retail. But that's just my opinion from my experience.
@@jeffguybersen you are mostly correct for sure-retail have to go in knowing it’s a losing proposition and take it for the hobby/enjoyment only. Investment is not a good word on that end 😂

Somehow that year in Pinnacle figured they would give the same few cards in every pack in different orders. So cool.
lol yeah I think I only opened like 2 packs in my life and I got those same cards haha

Adjust the camera angle!
You butchered Ichiro's name. You made him sound like a Mexican treat.
I've laughed at this multiple times-i need to brush up and take my time more often.
These were disappointing when they came out.
A fake 1/1 and a jersey on a card without a player. Lol
