We can have such an effect on other people. Even if we aren't close with them, people in our lives will still care about us. It's a shame that it can be hard for us to see that sometimes :( On the topic of caring about people: 9:23 shouldn't you be wearing some sort of eye protection when grinding the pieces of your lifting device? Last time I was grinding without it, I managed to fling a splinter of metal into my forehead, I'd hate to imagine if it hit just a little lower.
You are absolutely correct; I should have had safety gear on. I should have had glasses or a face shield while I was grinding, and I should have had my visor for my welding. I was in a horrid mood, and that is no excuse.
