It is good that you explain a lot about different alternative stones. Makes it easier to determine which diamond you would like. This videos are very informative. Thank you.
Please do a comparison between round diamond vs. Neo diamond cut, since Neo declares that they're the only company that cuts their stones to look like a real diamond. Thanks Michael!!!
Excellent explanation and comparison for the consumer. Now, I feel I have a better understanding of the visual properties each diamond alternative offers. Thank you!
Thank you F&B!! These educational videos are amazing and so helpful. They reassure me that I made the right decision by purchasing a 3 carat equivalent F&B C&C round brilliant moissy engagement ring! I get nothing but "WOW's" when people see my ring and I could not be happier!!!!
Hi Annelise! We're glad that you are happy with your ring! This feeling is why we do what we do. :) Thanks for the feedback and thanks for choosing F&B!
Michael I would love to see the difference between the different OEC moissanite gems especially Harro and ENV. Thanks so much, I really enjoy your videos!
Awesome video!! Love all the videos. Would love to see a comparison of the FAB round brilliant, FAB hearts and arrow, FAB OEC, Amora Gem, and Natural Diamond
This was so incredibly helpful!! Can you please make a video just like this for emerald cuts? Noticing a big difference between moissanite and diamond for this particular cut and would adore seeing a comprehensive video like this to show whether that's actually the case. Thanks!
Its hard to differentiate. I want the closest look to a diamond. I notice diamonds have more of a metallic look inside, not just clear... I love c&c hearts and arrows, I've seen the diamond cut neo and I saw the Fab. Which is most diamond like ?
That's a great question! All of these brands are very "diamond-like" so it just depends on what your aiming for. Is it fire, sparkle, cut, shape, size etc? Please feel free to contact us and one of our Jewelry Consultants will be more than happy to assist you with finding the one that fits your specific preference. Thank you! fireandbrilliance.com/pages/contact-us
you always do such an amazing job. You're so informative. can you be blunt and tell me in your opinion which diamond alternative is least delectable as a non diamond? From a trained gemologists eye.
Honestly from the video it looks like the Chattham Lab created one, I can tell Moissanites right away and Amora has a cloudy look. THe price for a 1Carat was very telling too on that lab created diamond.
Seems like the Chatham white sapphire does not have the same cutting technique as others. Hence comparatively less “fire and brilliance” compared to others... Superb video! Watched it 3 times from end to end...
Diamond Nexxus says in their ads "Don't settle for a Moissanite, buy a Nexxus Diamond." Is there any truth to that statement? Aren't the Nexxus stones just hyped up CZ?
Hi there! We do not sell any of Diamond Nexus' products or services so we do not want to comment on something that we don't have knowledge about. We can only speak on behalf of the products and services that we provide or reviewed. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!
Thank you for the videos! I've watched so many of your videos on comparing the brands of moissanites. I'm not a fan of the ones that give off lots of the colorful fire because I tend to like white light. It seems traditional FAB and the NEO give off the least amount from all the research I've done. In your opinion which gives off the least amount of sparkle/fire?
Both are great options. It's a matter of brand and prices at this point. Feel free to reach out to us in the link below and one of our Jewelry Consultants will be happy to assist you with answering any questions that you may have. fireandbrilliance.com/pages/contact-us
I Always Like Your Video..Good Job..But I Think We Can't See the Defferent Lab Grown Diamond/ HTTP Compare With Natural Diamond Without Mechine Right? Can You See The Defferent Without Mechine?
The lab created diamond with a touch of blue is the winner for me. I may go this route for an engagement ring in the future instead of natural - which are a scam anyway. Why not go for something customized to be perfect? It's all about look IMO
Solange Nevels...You buy a moissanite because you want a moissanite, not because you want it to look more like a diamond. Anyway, you can only tell the difference when you put it right next to a diamond. Also, even when right next to a diamond, you have to closely examine both to tell the difference. Even then, unless you are an expert, you wouldn't know what to look for to tell the difference.
I can tell the difference as i am a merchant that has difference varieties of diamonds and diamond alternatives. Here is a thing, the difference of these stones will be obvious to me when all in new and or clean state. With that being said, once you wear any stone of your choice, the difference will become blurred. White sapphire will obviously easily clouded so not recommended. In terms of moissanite, all the dirt and grease or whatever it is as a result of daily wear, will only cover the surface part of the stone either on the top and mostly on the bottom that can easily be cleaned by soaking it with some warm mixture of liquid soap. In terms of diamond...well this very expensive stone no matter which certificate it belongs to will loose it shine if you never take care of it properly, because the dirt and grease will not only cover the surface of the stone but will also get into the little tiny micro natural pores that if you are lucky can easily be cleaned by soaking into a liquid soap mixture, or need to use ultrasonic cleaner instead to remove the clouded pores
That's not exactly true. Diamonds have fire (reds, blues, greens, etc.) as well. You can still see the colors of the rainbow in a diamond, but not as much as a moissanite. Thanks!
Amazing video. I’m just wondering what is the actual difference among c&c forever classic, brilliant and the one Moissanite? Some website says it’s about the clarity. But in this video it seems like “brilliant” refers to a specific cut of the stone? Any one has idea? 💡thx
From my experience with a 3-stone C&C Moissanite ring (center stone Forever One and two sides Forever Brilliant), you can see that the Brilliants are slightly yellow in some light. You can really see the color difference on an overcast day. In sunnier days or some indoor lights, you can barely see the difference.
From 9:20 til 9:45 notice how 7 stones look hazy. The biggest stone looks the most hazy and you should look for that hazy/dull/condensation flag, on the other 6. I wish that he would have mixed them up, so I could be a little more sure that the mined stone isn't hazy, too.
I agree and also love it! Fluorescence is beautiful and underappreciated. It's too bad that diamonds are priced so much higher when there is fluorescence. I guess it benefits people like you and I! :) - Michael
The resale value of natural diamond is a higher percent of its retail value, but it still loses so much value in resale that you could have bought an entire moissanite ring for the difference. In short, do not buy jewellery as an investment, period. That is just a lie jewelers tell to trick people who cannot afford or justify such an expensive purchase.
We do provide Chatham lab-created diamonds. We have a limited selection for the time being, but we can get other shapes, brands and sizes as well. I have very expensive taste i know quality is always first with me. A diamond that can not connect with your spirit is one you should not buy and never want or wear someone else's diamond.

12 minutes video and I still can't tell the difference, but my wallet can 😂
Excellent explanation and comparison for the consumer. Now, I feel I have a better understanding of the visual properties each diamond alternative offers. Thank you!
Glad to help Vicki! :)

Agreed with the lab diamond. I was very impressed. Still pricey, but it is in fact a diamond!!!
I agree with you both. And this is a GREAT video showcasing the differences between them all.
LunaOverEden that’s because the lab diamond IS A DIAMOND, therefore you won’t be able to detect ANY difference. Lol
Seems like the Chatham white sapphire does not have the same cutting technique as others. Hence comparatively less “fire and brilliance” compared to others...
Superb video! Watched it 3 times from end to end...
The stone images need to be extremely high resolution. Like James Allen's images.
This is the order in case you lost track:
C & C
H & A
BTD Amora
Pure Light
NEO
Sapphire
Chatham lab-grown diamond
GIA natural diamond
Thanks!!
Which one do you think is the most equivalent to a diamonds look and brilliance?
Anyone?
I’m stuck between choosing the NEO and the FAB Moissanite stones!! I’m leaning towards the NEO , but I need help!!

Which brand has the brightest and best sparkle ?
I would like to know your opinion on the fieriest, most disco ball moissanite brand and cut for rounds. Thank you!
The lab created diamond with a touch of blue is the winner for me. I may go this route for an engagement ring in the future instead of natural - which are a scam anyway. Why not go for something customized to be perfect? It's all about look IMO
ive been leaning towards getting a moissy, but if there is too much fire & brilliance... i dont want it to be obvious its not a diamond.
Solange Nevels...You buy a moissanite because you want a moissanite, not because you want it to look more like a diamond. U wont be able to tell itll just look super clear and super sprakly

Enjoyed it. Thanks! Question: I've heard people say that a natural diamond does not show hinta of rainbow color inside. What is your take on this?

@@FireandBrilliance Awww thanks for your reply and I've been enjoying your videos. I love an oval diamond with a peachy hue. That's a rarity! 🙂
Amazing video. I’m just wondering what is the actual difference among c&c forever classic, brilliant and the one Moissanite? Some website says it’s about the clarity. But in this video it seems like “brilliant” refers to a specific cut of the stone? Any one has idea? 💡thx
It's how yellow the stone is, forever one is colorless while earlier collections have more yellow color to it which affects it's brilliance
Have you done any comparisons of Nexus Diamond Simulants vs moissanites?
If you’re not concerned about price which brand and type of moissanite would throw the most fire? C&C forever one?
From 9:20 til 9:45 notice how 7 stones look hazy.

I wish that he would have mixed them up, so I could be a little more sure that the mined stone isn't hazy, too.
The natural diamond shines the most.
Question.... the amora eternity is still in production. How is it that it is discontinued? Is it a certain color or clarity? Am I missing something?
Wow they are all are beautiful
This stuff is gorgeous....
Thank you!
great comparison video!
This was so helpful!! Thanks!
The lab grown diamond is the best option.
i want to see those stone in person, do you have a store so i can come in to check this stone?
Hello! Unfortunately we do not have a physical location. :(
Fantastic Video!!
Thanks for watching! We appreciate it!
I love blue fluorescence in diamonds 💎
I agree and also love it! Fluorescence is beautiful and underappreciated. It's too bad that diamonds are priced so much higher when there is fluorescence. I guess it benefits people like you and I! :) - Michael
Good knowledge .But what about resale value ? I believe dimond value increases but lab grown and moissanite value decrease or become valuless.
Super helpful!!!!!!
Thanks for watching, Jamie! :) Glad we could be of help!
man i wish we got more time on the side by side and sunlight side by side it was literally only 6 seconds
The diamond cut moissy is better than the other cuts of moissy
thanks
