Something I don't see discussed a lot is: Due to Gwen's monstrous AP scaling, fights tend to be pretty bursty and you rarely get to activate the new Riftmaker's Omnivamp before it's already decided. But Gwen really enjoys the Omnivamp on the rare occasions it does get activated. Finding ways to consistently activate the item before spamming the bulk of the damage (R2, R3, Q4) would be helpful; 5 seconds is an eternity in a teamfight. The most talk I've seen about it is people saying they only buy it vs tanks.
That was so entertaining to watch, I love seeing Gwungle in pro play but i just hope they don't nerf her and discover how broken she can be in the jungle ;-;
Good video, thanks for the pov in-depth tips! I'm a gwen otp so it was nice seeing her played in higher elo and see it's possible. I normally don't go tank items on her like abyssal and randuins but i might after seeing this! I prefer her bruiser but I have been leaning more to damage heavy builds which has more risk but more reward at the same time. Do you have any tips when all your lanes are losing and you can't do much because you are either behind (due to helping them from their pings) or do not have your 1st item yet? I find I hard lose if I go 0/2 by 10 mins most of the time, and this usually either happens from a bad ping from my team mate asking for gank or assistance before I get nashor's or my laners all die and I get invaded. Any pointers on playing behind is much appreciated ^_^
My tip is always trust youself, when I was low elo I was less confident and I thought my teammates knew more than I did so I'd follow their calls and die. Now in hindsight I never do that anymore, you can't play champs like gwen if you aren't confident in your own decision making, so don't let team pings bait you, review the situation and judge for yourself.
Ah yes, getting 3v1 and 4v1'd at obj while allies chilling in lane, the quintessential Gwen jg experience (To be fair, that's how the enemy team should be playing against a scaling jg)
I dont like riftmaker second item I rather take rabadon exept if ennemy team has ap melee but usually its nashor rabadon zhonya and sometimes lich bane third if they dont have melee dps I also recommand to take the plant which gives you a free q stack before u start clearing
Chemtech drake not the most useful, since velkoz roamed he's down mid prio so he has to catch mid wave so he can't help at drake, viego's bostide can contest, ad on reset timer, enemy supp firsto n map
i sow many semi - OTP going Shadowflame second skipping riftmaker. what do you think? what about lichbane? pops up quite often in high elo build on gwen jungle

I mean y for sure, very good point, I think zhonyas helps with that a lot btw.

Nah riftmaker works too well with Gwen's kit, it is a mustbuy , its like playing belveth without kraken. Taking the plant is a good tip!
Why didn’t you take dragon at ~ 9:45 ? Is the camp tempo and item spike worth more than that drag?

Probs depends on if your going to 1v9 or mainly pick people off like a assassin
too much tabbing
this guy thinks he's him but actually he is not him xd
