    The best video so far for my. Gl350 2014 x166 amg.
    Bumber wont come out yet
    I removed 4 plastic rivets on top of the grill
    Left liner
    3 fat screws behind the liner
    Front under panel with 8 screws 8mm
    Sprayed the 3 screws area with silicone
    Should pop out now on the left side??
    Need the pn of the beam assy
    Top of highbeam. Moves back when pushed ...bottom does not

    Guess plastic welding would be the best option. But nothing I have at the garage. The silicon was extra step because I don’t really trust only 2 comp epoxy on plastic parts, and really not feel to taking the bumper down again. How would you repair things like this?

      you got it...
      primary epoxy glue
      secondary silicon caulking
      I would do ALL SENSORS and caulk the electric connector with silicon to prevent winter salt water getting in wiring.
      Spaciba.

      Thanks for watching! M5 rivet they did fit right away! Probably replacing more plastic rivets for this when assembling other things!

    The W212 bumper is a bit easier to remove than the W204 one... The procedure is almost the same, except for the chrome trim on the trunk that has to be removed to get access to the M6 nuts, and one has to be very careful to not slice your fingers while removing it... Ask me how I know that! 😅🤕

      Great info for the W204 owners that’s watch this video! It sounds that’s it went pretty bad but learning bye doing or what they saying 🙈

    I have C300. The plastic bracket for blind spot sensor came off from the bumper. Can I use Loctite Power Epoxy and FLexi Fix All in your video to fix it ?

    • @MB212
      @MB212  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best solution probably would be to plastic welding it back but if you not have welder go with this solution is probably going to hold for a long time.

    Nice. Now, how do I know if I have a bad sensor or bad cabel without removing the bumber? Veho said it's not original so they don't fix it...

    • @MB212

      Put on the car and video with phone close to the sensor, then check the video and you can tell which is broken.

      Bad cable also happen often and usually in the outer sensors, that you don’t know for sure until you remove the bumpers.

    What is the part number of the parking sensor holder? Would it not have been easier to take it off and put a new one on?

    • @MB212
      @MB212  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sells as a replacement part and is plastic welded to the bumper!
