Dead Zones for India Elephants

Wild Elephants are facing a difficult time in many regions in India. Sometimes, they get crushed by the trains and sometimes electrocution. Wild elephants are also paying d deadly price for the ack of coordination between different departments. According to government data, 490 wild elephants were killed in India in last five years.
Hungry elephants often go to farms. and that's where the human-wildlife conflict begins. More than 2300 people have been killed in elephant attacks since 2014-15.
Well know wildlife photographer Biplab Hazra also woks as a wildlife conservator. His photographs, "Hell is here" and "Impossible odds" are well known. He share the sad story of wild elephants with us.
