My father worked for Raytheon for a few years and I can say this much anyway. Yes, the United States definitely has quite a few systems and quite a few measures in order to negate other stealth properties of other countries. Not only do we possess the most technologically advanced stealth equipment, we also possess almost some of the only equipment on Earth that is able to basically negate all other stealth factors of other countries.... That is truly what makes Our own stealth fighters and Equipment.. so lethal.. hope that helps 👍🏻
So how does that work exactly? AESA radars are definitely more sensitive to small RCS aircraft but I can't think of any way to change an aircrafts shaping or radar absorbent coating.
@@adamhurst9491 from what I “believe” it has to do with the materials of the aircraft itself. And the terrain below said aircraft.. do with that info as you may lol and take it with a grain of salt. But I can also say I’ve heard him say before when I asked a question about fighting over land or water, he said “ well all our 4th and beyond are even better over water “ he meant 4th generation so. That could be something to note as well.
I dont know if anyone has already commented, but you should check out a video on "Spooky" AC-130 Gunship. I can't imagine something that would scare an enemy combatant on the battlefield, especially at night, more. There are a lot of videos showing nightvision targeting and elimination of threats.
Dude, we "lost" an F35 recently after the pilot had to eject, and the plane kept flying.......with the only way of finding it was by locals on the ground. So no stealth is crazy hard to find.
They don’t fly in the national airspace fully stealthed up. They use luneberg lenses to increase the radar signature for ATC and prevent enemies from gathering SIGINT.
you have to understand there are varying degrees of "stealth" capabilities. the US base their level of stealth up against their own top of the line radar capabilities which are years more advanced than other countries like Russia or China. Chinese "stealth" aircraft are tested against their own radar system, which are vastly inferior to US radar tech. the Chinese may think their stealth is state of the art, but will be surprised to learn the US have been able to track them all along.
Even the US doesnt even consider the SU-57 or J-20 as "stealth" because their lack stealth coatings and avionics. They're just labeled as "Reduced Visibility". Many countries forget stealth doesnt mean a plane with a funny shape, its a combination of many factors.
@@A_Name_ That's what could end up happening when you think about it. You could have F-22s just flying around with their radar's off, completely invisible to the enemy but picking them up by site right up until it's time to engage. First shots of the fight and before the enemy even knows what happening they'd have a good chunk of their aircraft just blotted out of the sky.
The A-10 is the only plain that has a triple control system it has hydraulic, electrical, and a cable system so that I can fly really low to the ground and take a lot of damage and still fly back to base and as of right now it’s basically a tank in the sky and it’s the only playing that does that it’s meant to be shot up and still bring you back home and it’s the only plane like that
You should react to the video about the tradition of flyovers at football games. These planes fly over the football field as the last note of The Star Spangled Banner is sung. I wish I knew the name of the video, but someone reading this may know. The power of these planes flying over you is crazy.
One of the biggest complaints about the F35 was its price tag. Many people believed we already had the best fighter aircraft in the world, and spending SO much on a new one was unnecessary. But it is a truly remarkable aircraft!
The F22 is getting old in the tooth. It was made to engage the USSR in Europe. That mission is gone. They are already wanting to retire them. The NGAD is coming.
I recommend doing a reaction video on the F-35. It had some growing pains with any new technological leap in fighter aviation but the new block of F-35’s that are being built and sent to all the other countries that chipped in on its development couldn’t be happier. No other plane other than the F-22 Raptor comes close to its capabilities.
AF armament veteran here. 11:25 picture that was my job. Worked B-1, A-10, F-15E, F-16, F-22. Deployed with B-1, and A-10. Those 2 are my favorite. I give the nod to the B-1 being #1. In Iraq and Afghanistan B-1 dropped 45% of all the ordnance in those areas. It’s still capable of carrying nukes only takes some modifications which was part of the Start treaty with Russia. Which wouldn’t surprise me if they converted it back to being capable again. A-10 is second because it’s an amazing close air support aircraft, but gets edged by the B-1 because it’s distance and loitering time over the area of operation. Also the A-10 is a pain to work on. It’s not easy installing the 30mm gun system. Takes an exceptional crew 8 hours to install and load it. Lastly if you ever hear a B-1 take off you’ll know. It is loud, if you’re close to the runway the concussive vibrations from the engines will literally make it hard to breathe on your lungs.
The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program has an estimated lifetime cost of $1.7 Trillion USD. We're working closely with many allied nations for parts and program sustainment. 16 countries besides the US will be or already are operating F-35s. The 1,000th F-35 is expected to roll of the line this year. (Another 750 or so expected to built.) The next engine upgrade is already in the works. (Block 4 Engine Core Upgrade) The B-52 will be getting new engines. They will be replaced by Rolls Royce engines, and will remain on the aircraft for the rest of its service life. Along with new avionics and electronics. It's new range will be above 11,000 miles without aerial refueling. The Bone is a personal favorite of mine. It got nerfed by an international treaty. 900 miles an hour, 200 feet above the ground, 24 LRASMs onboard. The C-130s and C-17s now have a new feature. "Rapid Dragon" pallets of cruise missiles dumped out the back.
You should definitely check out a video on the A-10 warthog. Its such an awesome plane. We also call it the grunt of the sky becauae it comes in fast, unloads massive damage, and can take a punch like no other! Titanium bath tub keeps the pilots safe. I grew up close to an army base and i remember hearing them do lots of drills with the A-10. Miles away yet you could hear the gun like a big fart in the sky. BRRRRT!
A comment on a video about the A-10 described being downrange of one as being sho at by God's shotgun, followed by hearing Him farting in your general direction.
The thing I think I love most about the A-10 is that it's not so much a plane as it is a flying gun. They didn't build the plane and then stick a massive gun on it, they actually built the gun first and designed the plane around it. So much so that the pilot of an A-10 isn't officially called a pilot. Their official title is 'stick operator.'
They first tested the MOAB at Eglin Airforce base, it was maybe two years after 9/11 occurred i dont remember. But what I do remember is living 20 miles away, playing my PS2 laying on my carpet on a concret foundation and feeling the whole damn house shake.
At the moment, China's "stealth" tech is way behind. Even as good as they are at reverse engineering stolen tech. I understand that they are hard to "see" if they are coming straight on. A veer to the side, and they show up.
It's worth noting that "stealth" considerations are on a scale, and not a yes/no proposition. The better the stealth, the better the sensors. As in all warfare, it's a matter of degree, and typically that decides the fight.
Please react to their video just on the Warthog it is an amazing plane. There is also a good video that shows real war footage of the plane in action. There is also one about a woman pilot that landed a badly damaged A 10 . God bless!
The F-15 was designed by a defense contractor named McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, which itself formed when McDonnell and Douglas aircraft merged in 1967. McDonnell Douglas Aerospace was acquired by Boeing in 1997.
There is a saying "Jack of all trades, but master of none." This is why some people hate the F-35. Supposedly, it's good in many things but not great at anything. The other problem with these military aircraft is politics. They are made in different states, so congress is always trying to build the aircraft built in their states. It is a giant tug-of-war on the military. When I was at Whiteman AFB, the base commander gathered all officers in the Club and made us repeat after him. "The B-2 is a great aircraft, but we do not need any more." The congressman wanted to take funding from the F-35 to build more B-2's.
I highly recommend checking out the channel Real Engineering. In particular two videos: The Insane Engineering Of The A-10 Warthog The Insane Engineering Of The SR-71 Blackbird
The fact that the SR-71 Blackbird was not mentioned is low-key infuriating. It's named the fastest plane in the world and it's just an extraordinary plane my ALL TIME favorite besides the B-2 Stratofortress which also wasn't named I guess. 🤨
The F-35 had issues when it first was built because it was full of new technology and there are technically 3 versions of it. They have since fixed almost everything that needed fixing and the last thing they are working on currently is an engine upgrade. It was built with the ability to be upgraded a lot as new technology comes along.
The new B-21 Raider and the coming NGASF will surpass these! Great reaction. The best video on carriers which you should react to (it includes lots of "exploded views" of the mechanisms of the super carrier) is "he Enormous USS Ronald Reagan Super Carrier | Aircraft Carrier: Guardian of the Seas" by Spark. It's a long one but worthwhile. Even see the carrier and its air wing operate in a huge multinational exercise with access to the bridge, cockpits, etc. It also shows a bit more on the F-35 helmet display and sensors. What we need - especially to deter China is a deeper penetrating / higher range multirole fighter/bomber. The higher range is necessary because of the distances in the Pacific / China's good A2/AD capabilities, and the soft target nature of the in air fuel tankers.
F35 radar cross section is .003 nm squared. About the size of a sparrow. F22 cross section is .0002 nm squared. About the size of a bumble bee. The same as the f117 and the b2. A10 is called brrrrrrt in soldier lingo.
I know nothing about planes I am a retired operator Army but love the C-130 and A-10 due to support and not sure why B-2 Bomber not here but check out B-21 Raider bomber next gen Bomber 6th generation and they got 2 new types of fighter planes in development one for Air force and 1 for USMC and Navy!
The F-15 is probably the most combat tested U.S. fighter aircraft with no air-to-air combat losses. It is a beast of destruction either air-to-air or air-to-ground. They have a new version of the F-15, the Boeing F-15EX Eagle II which is an all-weather multirole strike fighter and even more deadly at long range. The F-22 is the ultimate dogfighter and stealth fighter jet. In 2013, two Iranian F4 Fighter Jets were flying to hunt and shoot down and American Drone. An American F22 fighter flew all the way to the F4 jets behind them undetected, flying under them, and then rising next to them. The F22 could have destroyed both jets in seconds. The pilot radioed to the Iranian F4 fighters and said, "You really ought to go Home." Faced with instant destruction, the F4s ran for home. The B1 Bomber had a decades-long troubled past of problems and missed out on a number of conflicts. However, they fixed most of the problems and it's used today for combat. The F-35 is America's newest stealth jet fighter built in many configurations and also sold to our allies. It is not as stealthy as the F-22, but it is a good fighter with a powerful weapons package. The F16 is the most prolific fighter jet ever produced with many different configurations and produced by the thousands. Most of our allied use the F16 as an air superiority fighter, but it can do some Close Air Support. I was the Director of World-Wide F16 Fighter Production in the 1990s. The A10 is arguably the best Close Air Support fighter in the world. It is a beast of destruction and the most armored and redundantly controlled aircraft in the U.S. inventory. It supports supporting ground troops. It is a precision guided tank and vehicle killer, bunker killer, and could destroy ships if needed. It carries a 30mm gun shooting over 3,000 rounds a minute, and a large load of precision guided missiles. I was a manufacturing manager for the B-2 Stealth Bomber, a stealthy long-range bomber with a huge payload and highly destructive.
The f35 issues are about cost over run. It is the most tech & stealth plane. No one else truly has developed stealth. People just need to accept that stealth is worth it but costly.
The United States navy, as far as I know, is currently developing air-to-air missiles that can "see" stealth planes that China and Russia are flying. That allowed older generation planes that carry said missiles to level the playing field So yeah, they have the technology to negate the stealth capabilities of newer jets
F-22 best fighter... A-10 Warthog the best tank buster with it`s depleted uranium shells. Also great for force multiplier ground forces. Yes we have the BEST "stuff" land and sea.
China and Russia have what they claim are stealth aircraft. In reality, they are not very stealthy, and standard US radar can detect them. Neither Russia nor China have the technological skills to build a truely stealth plane of any kind. The amount of computer pricessing power required to design a stealth plane is staggering. China, and especially Russia, do not have the computers to do it.
Just a suggestion from a new subscriber, if you haven’t already, do a deep look at the AC130. All versions. Also a program called Rapid Dragon. Turning cargo aircraft into flying cruise missile launcher that can deploy many different air launched cruise missiles.
This is an older video and the F-35 will be very capable and probably is now. There were major problems when first introduced but suggest they are worked out. My overall favorite is the Lancer though.
American stealth aircraft are truly ‘stealthy’; the radar cross-section of an F-22 is roughly the equivalent to that of a bee. The closest competitors still are more comparable to birds or road signs.
Even the experts still aren't sure about the F-35. The program was an ambitious gamble from the start. And that's the main controversy, the gamble on so much money and resources, which won't even be settled if the program is eventually considered successful.
I live in Louisiana right next door to Barksdale Air Force Base which is one of two home bases for the remaining B-52 fleet. Of the original thousands that rolled out in the 1950’s, less than 80 of them remain functional. They do maneuvers over my house every day between 3-5 pm and believe me, they are massive beasts that are so loud that if they fly low overhead, they can rattle windows in your house. They are the heart of the land leg in the American nuclear triad and they transport long range, heavy nuclear warheads. My son in law is Air Force reserve and works in the bomb bays of these beasts. He says they will fly until at least the year 2050.

If you're on a hill and have to look down to see your Close Air Support, it's probably an A-10. 🙂
So no stealth is crazy hard to find.
also the pilot of that "lost" F-35 was of questionable qualifications 🙄
Not to mention the Chengdu(sp?) Is the size of a railway car so you hardly need radar just go outside and look for it lol
I live next to an Air Force base which houses B-1 and C-130 aircraft. They do low passes at high speed DAILY and I still love it after 25yrs!!
The A-10 is the only plain that has a triple control system it has hydraulic, electrical, and a cable system so that I can fly really low to the ground and take a lot of damage and still fly back to base and as of right now it’s basically a tank in the sky and it’s the only playing that does that it’s meant to be shot up and still bring you back home and it’s the only plane like that
The A-10 Warthog is a legend! There are videos on it you should see.
A-10 my favorite, Love to hear the A-10 fly. They have a sound all it's own.
You should react to the video about the tradition of flyovers at football games. These planes fly over the football field as the last note of The Star Spangled Banner is sung. I wish I knew the name of the video, but someone reading this may know. The power of these planes flying over you is crazy.
Boeing now owns McDonnell Douglas so the F-15 is now made by Boeing. (Boeing F-15)
We have the best fighter in the f22, but a multirole plane to do with a2a and a2g is also needed
The Raptor is my favorite.
love the about face on the B-1 lol. It's a sleeper, supersonic, highest payload capacity, constantly evolving. It's bada$$
Eats F15s for breakfast. Hard to believe but true.
I live next to an naval air base and the almost everyday air shows are the best
The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program has an estimated lifetime cost of $1.7 Trillion USD. We're working closely with many allied nations for parts and program sustainment. 16 countries besides the US will be or already are operating F-35s.
The 1,000th F-35 is expected to roll of the line this year. (Another 750 or so expected to built.)
The next engine upgrade is already in the works. (Block 4 Engine Core Upgrade)
The B-52 will be getting new engines.
You should react to the videos on the A -10 warthog. They go into deep details
BRRRRT!
Im working on that! Ty!
A comment on a video about the A-10 described being downrange of one as being sho at by God's shotgun, followed by hearing Him farting in your general direction.
@@Myomer104 haha YES
It is McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle.
At the moment, China's "stealth" tech is way behind. Even as good as they are at reverse engineering stolen tech. I understand that they are hard to "see" if they are coming straight on. A veer to the side, and they show up.
We got harassed in 1776 and said "Never again!". We meant it.
My opinion the YF-23 IS THE BEST. perhaps look into it? But my next favorite is it's competitor F-22 RAPTOR
It's worth noting that "stealth" considerations are on a scale, and not a yes/no proposition. The better the stealth, the better the sensors. As in all warfare, it's a matter of degree, and typically that decides the fight.
The F35 is our export plane to NATO and other countries. The F22 we keep the Tech to ourselves, and will not export at ANY cost, so….
The F35-C is probably the 2nd greatest aircraft we've ever built, after the brand new F-15EX Eagle II.
My great nephew is a weapons loader on the Lightening II. Awesome plane!
Please react to their video just on the Warthog it is an amazing plane. There is also a good video that shows real war footage of the plane in action. There is also one about a woman pilot that landed a badly damaged A 10 . God bless!
I will!
Watch videos of the planes you enjoy .you will be more amazed
and fun fact about the A-10, the gun is so powerful, where it fires, it actually slows the plane down. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTT
In our arsenal of precision arrows, the A-10 Warthog is the throwing axe to the face.
In particular two videos:
The Insane Engineering Of The A-10 Warthog
The Insane Engineering Of The SR-71 Blackbird
The fact that the SR-71 Blackbird was not mentioned is low-key infuriating. It's named the fastest plane in the world and it's just an extraordinary plane my ALL TIME favorite besides the B-2 Stratofortress which also wasn't named I guess. 🤨
While I agree it is a badass plane, the sr71 has been retired. This is a list of active planes
@@tjtheo3584 hmmm? It never said that to my knowledge...
You should check out some cobat footage on the a10 such a satisfying noise
The F-35 had issues when it first was built because it was full of new technology and there are technically 3 versions of it. They have since fixed almost everything that needed fixing and the last thing they are working on currently is an engine upgrade. It was built with the ability to be upgraded a lot as new technology comes along.
The F35 had grown into an absolute beast of battle. But yes, it had a rough start.
Love your reactions. Enjoyed the video, please keep them coming
You should check out fly overs at NFL stadiums at games. Check out U.S. Military fly overs, I believe you will find them impressive.
The gun on the A-10 fires 4,500 rounds per minute. The last thing you want to hear if it gets pissed off at you is "BRRRRRRRTTT!!!!!!!!!"
F35 radar cross section is .003 nm squared. About the size of a sparrow. F22 cross section is .0002 nm squared. About the size of a bumble bee. The same as the f117 and the b2. A10 is called brrrrrrt in soldier lingo.
Those Cold War Era engineers were good, they built stuff that withstood the test of time, and did it all without modern computers.
No such thing as a stupid question. All questions built this Earth.
Check out C130 gunship. You will see why it was on the list. Not only a work horse but also the best close combat killer in the air.
I know nothing about planes I am a retired operator Army but love the C-130 and A-10 due to support and not sure why B-2 Bomber not here but check out B-21 Raider bomber next gen Bomber 6th generation and they got 2 new types of fighter planes in development one for Air force and 1 for USMC and Navy!
enjoyed your reaction
The counter to stealth is to consider a bee moving at MACH 2 to be suspicious.
I would suggest the LA Speed Story about the SR-71.
The F35 is a very cool and capable jet for damn sure.
The f35 issues are about cost over run. It is the most tech & stealth plane. No one else truly has developed stealth. People just need to accept that stealth is worth it but costly.
"information is power" Correct! Not sexy but that's how battles are won.
The United States navy, as far as I know, is currently developing air-to-air missiles that can "see" stealth planes that China and Russia are flying. That allowed older generation planes that carry said missiles to level the playing field
So yeah, they have the technology to negate the stealth capabilities of newer jets
F-22 best fighter... A-10 Warthog the best tank buster with it`s depleted uranium shells. Also great
for force multiplier ground forces. Yes we have the BEST "stuff" land and sea.
F-35 IS A FANTASTIC PLANE.
The B-1 Bomber carries 125,000 lbs of munitions. 2nd place is Russian TU-160, it can carry 88,000 lbs.
Love you reacting to USA military stuff
1 it’s a crazy good plane.
China and Russia have what they claim are stealth aircraft. In reality, they are not very stealthy, and standard US radar can detect them. Neither Russia nor China have the technological skills to build a truely stealth plane of any kind. The amount of computer pricessing power required to design a stealth plane is staggering. China, and especially Russia, do not have the computers to do it.
i just commented nearly the same sentiment. stealth really depends on what they are using as a benchmark radar capabilities to track them.
dont say "Reduced Visibility" around them, might trigger them lol.
Just a suggestion from a new subscriber, if you haven’t already, do a deep look at the AC130. All versions. Also a program called Rapid Dragon. Turning cargo aircraft into flying cruise missile launcher that can deploy many different air launched cruise missiles.
Or talking old technology
The A-10 Warthog is like the swiss army knife of planes.🗽
This is an older video and the F-35 will be very capable and probably is now. There were major problems when first introduced but suggest they are worked out.
My overall favorite is the Lancer though.
Air Force personnel are called "AIRMAN" Soldiers are Army, Seaman are Navy, Coasties are Coast Guard and Marines are self explanatory
F35 is a fine aircraft for some things ....but nothing beats the F22.
F35 rules.. F22 Rules.. both amazing..
