I used to live in Port Harcourt in the early eightie's as a kid.We lived in Borokiri just by the navy school. Some years ago I found the house we lived in on google maps even it is so backed up nowadays. Early eightees it was just few roads and not so many houses and pretty nice and peace full actually. I also remember going to Olympic hotel for a swim and many visits to the golf club not to mention shopping in Kingsway or Superport(Not sure of the name but I vividly remember the market)There was also a beach we went quite often I dont think it is still there unfortunately. Love from Finland❤

Yes it is but it’s mostly occupied by students because it’s close to school

Alakahia market is also very expensive due to high demand of food stuffs from students living off-camp
