Seeing Cora so sad and spiteful makes me so glad that I reverted a save and made Barrett my 2nd highest affinity companion. Sam Coe doesn’t deserve to die with his daughter watching, whereas Barrett dying kind of makes sense. He lost his husband and has no one left (aside from constellation)
Plus he’s the funny guy. I Sarah was my highest and I couldn’t t let her go so I reloaded a save to Barrett ended up dying. Makes sense though since up to that point the main quest line is kind of really lighthearted. Everyone’s happy and exploring this mystery. Makes sense the one to go would be the one who really started them on the journey.
I hate Sam with a passion. Irresponsible father who takes his daughter to dangerous situations. I refuse to have him on the ship because he brings her with him. Cora would be safer with the grandpa.
i find it kinda sad... that when you become starborn you have this really cool alien ship... that just flat out sucks compared to anything you can actually build... like... why? why cant you use that alien tech to actually build a cool ship.
The great serpent will definitely b one of the DLCs. Sentient aliens being introduced somehow is also probable. Another likely option is upon ur next NG+, u will enter a dramatically different universe and there will b a story line of how to escape it or merge it somehow. If that is the case I can see them adding a feature for being able to bring select items with u to the next NG+. So that plays into ur wishes… I also wouldn’t b surprised if they add a non-story-line expansion like hearthfire for skyrim, adding larger ships and upgrade, more craftables, more companion, etc etc

@@masterkeef420 oh it definitely sucks... when you can have basically a capital battleship it really sucks... right now i have a ship with auto firing turrets all over my ship... things are decimated in seconds... the alien ship is weaker than standard enemy A class ships... its only advantage is the whole invisibility thing... it lacks firepower and health... only really has speed and invis...
I had a NG+ where Sarah was on the floor holding her stomach about to die. She was mad at me saying that I betrayed her and killed everyone in Constallation. After she said that she died and then on the balcony of the Lodge there was an evil Starborn version of me who who I had to kill to get the artifacts lmao.
I got one new 1 so far, Vasco was the one left in the lodge, he told you that the starborn already killed everyone but barret told him to hide with the artifacts until you showed up. You can't recruit Vasco sadly and he had some interestingly sad lines that made him sound sad or moursefull.
I would’ve loved to see how constellation group would’ve reacted if the met the You’s Barret: ok I remember having one miner deliver the artifact, why in the hell is there 5 others. Did you go through mitosis Sam Coe: you know what they say, you can’t trust anyone but yourself and you’ve got that in spades, damn Cora’s going to flip Sarah: this has to be the biggest loophole I’ve ever seen, a literal personal army

1st time it was just standard, collected them again, beat the main quest and 2nd time, when I went in the lodge, Sara was hurt, and when I talked to her, a murderous version of me was there that attacked me. I was basically naked and it killed me. Then reloaded from the last save(which was back right after grav jumping ) and went back into the lodge and it was the standard universe again.
So if you reload a new universe you can rng them in? Apparently some are fixed but if not I'd love to get the one with the kids or maybe the one with my doppelganger as a buddy.
@@ProjectNetoku you need to save right before entering the unity. A random "universe seed" is chosen whenever you enter a new universe. The normal universe has the biggest chance of appearing
exact same thing happened to me. inventory was bugged so i couldnt equip a weapon so I had to just die. after that it threw me into my old save then the game crashed lol.

I went into it thinking that it could happen again, so went and stole some money and bought a weapon, went in, got the cut scene and ran. Couldn't equip a weapon, couldn't beat him with just my fist. I think you're right that you can't continue with them, it's just for funs.
Constellation are the people most likely to go through Unity, if other Starborn don't get in the way. Most of the Starborn are probably variants on Constellation members.
The large implication in Starfield is that EVERYONE has become a starborn in one universe or another. The thing about infinite universes is that true infinite means ALL possibilities. The entire reason why the average universe in the multiverse even has grav drive technology is because of a paradox where Aiza touched the artifact and met a starborn version of himself that explained grav drive technology.
@@mikeb5063 You can really consider any of the potential crewmates in the game as a implied starborn possibility. Anyone on your ship when you make the jump to the unity would logically be given the choice of following into it or taking the trip back into their own universe with the ship. Theoretically, all of the faceless/nameless starborn you kill could be different versions of the adoring fan.
The last one with all of the YOUs together was funny, I wish there'd have been more dialogue options like throwing a party with them or choosing to recruit one of them to have your own twin Bethesda made one weird game with literally infinite possibilities

I’ll be honest I don’t like Multiverse theories(it made me furious in BioShock infinite lol 😂) but I have to say this is pretty cool. The intro being different every time you start a new game +. I’ve never seen that for a game before. The most heartbreaking one is when Cora wants vengeance.

As someone who's beaten the game many times now. I don't think you guys realize how rare these encounters are. I still am waiting for 1 even with save scrumming
Only different NG+ encounter is where room is empty with a plant on the side with "Sarah's," name over it. You speak to plant and Nora appears and tells you it's a normal plant and you say you thought it was a universe where everyone is plants.
So, my headcanon for these encounters is; In the first universe, The Hunter has presumably killed or somehow displaces all members of Constellation. Not really too clear since he just zoops out right after. In the second, Cora shows up looking for the specific version of You that let Sam die during The Hunters attack. This was actually a decent surprise, since we dont really know/see what becomes of Cora if you let Sam die (atleast I dont think so, since Sams Ex just shows up and takes her somewhere). Mustve taken a while for her to grow up and then yeet straight into the Unity, she can really hold a grudge. In the third, Walter in another universe went through the Unity and then told another another Walter that someone (I say someone since all he says is "perspective buyer", not anyone specific) would turn up for them, so he just sells them at a super expensive price. Pretty interesting, since if you talk to Walter at the end of the game, he says he doesnt want to go through the Unity and leave, so quite rare. Hopefully all the memebers he bought out are ok :( In the fourth, Andreja presumably finished her mission of infiltrating Constellation as given from House Varuun, and has killed them and taken over. A fairly bleak outcome, considering how nice Andreja is as a companion. In the Fifth, I assume that every member of Constellation has gone through the Unity after publishing their findings the events of the MSQ, the Starborn, Unity etc, and have also left a note for anyone to hand over the artefacts to You. Its strangely specific, since the main character is indeed the last member of Constellation, would be kinda awkward if a Starborn Sarah or Sam showed up by accident. In the Sixth, It seems that every member has retired, but its kinda unclear if the events of the MSQ have transpired. Since when talking about "Professor" Barret and Sarah, Noel says theyre just theories and is surprised when the theory about the Starborn and multiverse travel is explained to her. The thing that confuses me is that she mentioned there was someone "who looks vaguely like you", so perhaps in this universe the MSQ events do not transpire, and Constellation stick to just plain exploring and or do not find any conclusive answers to the artefacts/Starborn. And finally the Seventh is just hell. Pretty weird how this implies that in different universe, a You just did one faction sidestory and thats it. Double weird how theyre not wearing Starborn stuff.
For the Cora playthrough, you can possibly talk her down if none of the played universes includes him dying. If he happened to be the mandatory death on the first universe in your save like mine.... She will attempt to kill you regardless and possibly put a bad taste in your mouth as you wonder if she really was YOUR Cora.....

You're missing the one where you walk into pretty much something like your first playthrough. Everyone standing around the artifacts including yourself. The other you just got there and delivered the artifact like you did originally in your first playthrough. Everyone in constellation is alive plus the other you. Have it uploaded if anyone wants to check it out.
All of these variants in the video seem to indicate you can't do the long form quest, but with the version where you show up and you're already there to drop off the piece (and also is recruitable) can you do the long version of the quest since no one in Constellation is dead?
Mate what are your specs because I have a beast of a system and yours runs WAY smoother. Mine basically freezes for 2+ secs everytime anything in the game happens and im way past min specs
that's so great. too bad they didn't add any secret quest lines, like maybe letting you side with Va'arun house or smth... but I guess it would be too labor-intensive for the devs.
I haven’t had any variations. I’m newgame+ 9 and they’ve all been the exact same for me. Is there something I’m supposed to do to get these different ones?
Does anyone know how to “re-roll” alternate universes to get the one you want? Obviously it’s random and I’ve heard it’s only a 15% chance of happening, but where can you restart to keep trying? I’ve saved right outside the lodge on a ng+ and kept trying over and over 40 times and it didn’t work. But I tried doing the same from the very beginning after unity when you’re on your ship, and that worked a couple times, but it’s annoying having to warp to Jemison, then travel to new Atlantis, then walk to the lodge, just to be disappointed. Surely there’s a faster way?
I saved before entering the unity, you have to endure the boring cutscene every time you restart but you know you got a different universe when you can't save or enter your inventory, the only different universe where it isn't like that is when you meet yourself as a companion
I can't save or use my inventory at all if I get an intro like this. If I reload and get a normal NG+ intro, then the save option works as well as opening my inventory. Anyone else have this issue?
I'm on the 5th NG+ and you dont have access to your inventory and you cant save. I have a problem with getting disconnected and so I cant complete this one DAMN!
Is the lodge the only thing that changes or does the story get affected, for example is history different in alternative universes? Does earth exist in an alternative universe?
I heard some of the faction quests can change as well. Such as a different crimson fleet leader for example. Plus idk how you'd do the FreeStar quests without Sam

But then again there are TV shows where it is set in an alternative universe and the Nazis win WW2 etc... It would be interesting to see if they do anything like that in DLC. For example what happens if the UC won the colony war

You aren’t meant to realistically play in these universes right? Because you can’t save and have no weapons.

From my experience, save at the end before you ascend and then if you get vanilla reload and retry. Worked for me.

So after a few NG+ you no longer get the option to play the main quest ?
Mate what are your specs because I have a beast of a system and yours runs WAY smoother. Mine basically freezes for 2+ secs everytime anything in the game happens and im way past min specs

that's so great. too bad they didn't add any secret quest lines, like maybe letting you side with Va'arun house or smth... but I guess it would be too labor-intensive for the devs.

Does anyone know how to “re-roll” alternate universes to get the one you want? Obviously it’s random and I’ve heard it’s only a 15% chance of happening, but where can you restart to keep trying?
I’ve saved right outside the lodge on a ng+ and kept trying over and over 40 times and it didn’t work. But I tried doing the same from the very beginning after unity when you’re on your ship, and that worked a couple times, but it’s annoying having to warp to Jemison, then travel to new Atlantis, then walk to the lodge, just to be disappointed.
Surely there’s a faster way?
I saved before entering the unity, you have to endure the boring cutscene every time you restart but you know you got a different universe when you can't save or enter your inventory, the only different universe where it isn't like that is when you meet yourself as a companion

Random chance to happen when you enter the Unity. Save before entering and reload if you don't get the one you want.
How to get the you ending how many ng+ do you have to do
I can't save or use my inventory at all if I get an intro like this. If I reload and get a normal NG+ intro, then the save option works as well as opening my inventory. Anyone else have this issue?
That part at the end... counts as murder or suicide?
There is a ending where a version of you kills your friends and you have to find him
I'm on the 5th NG+ and you dont have access to your inventory and you cant save. I have a problem with getting disconnected and so I cant complete this one DAMN!

Pretty sure if your not House Varrune she wont see you as part of the great serpant. Thats what happened to me when marrying her with the trait.

Bad luck here.. on my 9th NG+ run and all have been standard universes except for one with the hunter
just save at the unity and load if u dont get a special one. I hear pple have to reload like 30 times before get the one they want.

Is the lodge the only thing that changes or does the story get affected, for example is history different in alternative universes? Does earth exist in an alternative universe?
It's mostly just the lodge, don't expect a whole new game
I heard some of the faction quests can change as well. Such as a different crimson fleet leader for example. Plus idk how you'd do the FreeStar quests without Sam
Earth is destroyed in every universe because some scientist gave himself the knowledge to build grav drives, and he destroys earth in every universe.
@@halolasomaster3900oh yeah I read that in a in-game book. It makes sense that that does not change. But then again there are TV shows where it is set in an alternative universe and the Nazis win WW2 etc...

I did 11 runs and only got the hunter one. It was on my 6th run
