Jay, Carol Danvers became Ms. Marvel in the late '70s, She originally had a red and blue-black suit similar to Captain Mar-Vell's, except that her thighs and and lower torso were exposed. This suit was later modified to cover her stomach and back. Shortly before her series was canceled, she got the black suit seen here. (Still called Ms. Marvel.) Later on, she got new powers and costume and was then called Binary. Her powers were altered or diminished after a while and she went back to the black costume, but by that time, a new, different Ms. Marvel had shown up, so she took the name Warbird when she rejoined The Avengers. (I think this was in the '90s.) Then she got the Ms. M name back for a series in the 2000s, and finally changed to a full coverage red and blue suit taking the name Captain Marvel. In other words, when she's wearing the black suit, you can correctly call her either Ms. Marvel or Warbird.
I'm not really a Marvel Legends collector myself, but I do have a few pieces in my collection, just a handful really. However, if this new tooling is any indication of what's on the horizon for Marvel and Hasbro, then count me in! It's fantastic news-enhanced articulation, extra hands, and accessories; it's almost a classified upgrade. Plenty of collectors are bound to go wild for this, and honestly, it's long overdue.
Those are more moden versions of Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Think post 2004, when Brian Bendis was writing Avengers. I HIGHLY recommend reading the "Superior Spiderman" series. It's still one of the best modern Spiderman story arcs, and one of the best eras of the character. It's only 33 issues long, so you won't take too long to read it all. 2024 is the 50th anniversay of Wolverine. There's going to be many more figures of him this year. They even said that in the Hasbro Pulse live-stream, when they showed that figure. Danny Ketch is the Ghost Rider we really needed, and the one with the most badass bike ever!
I read the 70's Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider as a child. The rest are too modern for me. I got into Wolverine through the Wolverine Saga, issue 3, 1989. (Still have the set). Claws spiked through the demon mask, peaked my interest. So Wolverine for me, will always be the brown costumed version for some reason. Loving Japan and living there for 15 years, really has given me fond memories of those books. Natsukashii desu.

I would have preferred iron fist with the power man version of luke cage in keeping with the 80th year theme of this wave ( not that im excited for any 2pk ) and would have liked this bulkier body for the lame power man fig previously released .

No that is a mistake that everyone is making. This is her Warbird costume note the more militaristic asthetics. The Black was her unstable molecules costume given to her by the Wasp. The change of design was to distance herself from her old Kree Uniform. Warbird was when they wanted to express her military background more. Hate the fact that Ms Marvel/Warbird is a Target exclusive. The previous release was a Walmart exclusive as part of a 3-pack and the Ms. Marvel figure is pretty pricey on the secondary market, so it's a headscratcher why Hasbro decided to make this version an exclusive as well instead of a general release so that anyone who missed out the first time around (like me) can get their hands on her without any trouble.

I've given up on getting Marvel Legends because of their excessive double and triple dipping. You wanted to know why this Skaar figure had pinned knees joints? The answer is so Hasbro can rerelease him 2 more times in the next 18 months... first with pinless knees and pinned elbows... and then again with pinless knees + pinless elbows. Marvel Legends triple dipping has become so obvious theyre now predictable. I used to buy 2 of each ML figure. Now I seldom buy ML and when I do, its just one.

Ive always bought only one figure of any character on my shelf i think its insane ppl buy the same character multiple times instead of another figure they dont have .
Pins don't bother me too much, but fully pinless while also hitting other milestones can lend to being an "ultimate version". I can see both sides of it, but I'm guilty of buying 2 maybe 3 multiples of my favorite characters mainly when it's a huge upgrade like better face scans, ideal minds eye versions, etc. I also cherry pick and don't buy characters I'm not interested in. Rather have a high tier collection than weighed down by filler figures like anything MCU related.
