When Joker thought it was a pointless endeavour, he hired Deathstroke to off him, but Jason suggested he could pay him more if he helped him escape instead... Jason went on to steal money from Bruce and pay Deathstroke. Jason and Slade then teamed up to form and train the army we see in Knight. That's also why Deathstroke takes over Jason when it's all said and done in Knight. P.S Not 100% sure if Jason escaped during the events of Asylam.. either then or before, but definently not after.

4 years ago I watched Dontai played Arkham Asylum and one day I hoped he come back to the Arkham series. Now we reach the finale of Knight. This journey has been amazing can’t wait for what next.
When Scarecrow injected Batman with the fear toxin, his worst fear came to reality, to become the Joker. Thats why it was the Joker who was strapped in, and not Batman anymore since Joker now took control, but due to Scarecrows frustration that "Batman" was laughing without any thought of despair, he injected him again with the fear toxin, but this time since the Joker was essentialy the new Batman he is now injected with the fear toxin and Joker's fears came into fruition. His fear of being forgotten implied by the scenes. What happened now was Batman was able to take control again and get rid of Joker in his mind for good (Batman also said that he would be the cause of Joker being forgotten). Since Batman's only biggest fear was becoming the Joker nothing else, when he finally got rid of Joker in his psyche, even after Scarecrow injected him again with the toxin, it did not affect him anymore since he essentially has no fears now.

Unlike Grayson he was hotheaded and a street punk. After Jason is presumably killed by Joker Bruce (Batman) becomes more violent. Batman didn't always use the break bones and be as dark. Jasons tragedy is the catalyst of for that darker shift. Tim Drake, someone who followed the adventures of Batman and Robin for years noticed this shift. Tim would figure out the secret identities of both Nightwing and Batman. This action was enough to make him the new Robin and partially bring Batman away from fully falling into darkness.
Was explaining in the simplest terms. Both have far more nuance than nice and mean stereotypes for sure. They both had their own destructive tendencies, but Jason's was different in that it caused his downfall and blinded his judgment. Jason was generally filled with rage and didn't have the same morality that Grayson did. Batman's double life is over at the end of Arkham Knight it kind of reflects how Kevin Conroy kept his homosexuality a secret for so much of his life, but as the times changed, that was no longer a part of himself he had to hide it's all of this that makes his time under the cowl so precious to me

A wonderful finale to a wonderful game. I found the Joker to be like Batman's little buddy during this game. Singing to him. Messing with him. It was wild. I know it had to be done but it made me a bit sad that he got sealed away. It makes sense though. Batman had to physically and mentally move on from his attachments in this game. Including his attachment to Joker. We know he beat himself over what happened during Harley's DLC story. But it's finally time to let the clown go.
Imdontai you should try the yakuza series. Yakuza is the perfect mixture between an amazing story, badass quick time events and an extremely immersive story.Yakuza 0 would be great to start in this series as it puts you into the storyline and develops the major characters really well which you see in almost every other game. Each game is also pretty long so you can enjoy the game at your own pace without worrying about the story being too short. The game has a very fun inspired fighting style, loads of little side quests/activities and a big world for you to cruise around in. These games are true gems and after tai is done with arkham this would be an amazing game to start off with. Now I don't want to make you feel like im rushing you into it after arkham but definitely check it out. You will NOT be disapointed.

Robin Lore: Dick Grayson’s parents are killed. Bruce takes Dick in and mentors him so he doesn’t go down the wrong road and tried to make him into a better him. Dick goes through Bruces toxic bullshit, gets tired of it, leaves. Dick becomes Nightwing. Bruce finds a poor kid, Jason Todd, in the slums of Gotham and makes him the second Robin. Jason becomes caught up trying to prove himself to Batman and tries to save his mom. His mom was secretly working for Joker and set em up. Joker double crossed his mom. They both die. Jason is resurrected. But Batman thinks he’s dead after finding his body and having a funeral for him. Tim becomes the third Robin. Then Bruce has a soon with Ra’s Al Ghul’s daughter. Damian Wayne. He’s trained as an assassin under the league of assassins until he’s sent off to be mentored under Batman. He becomes the fourth Robin. Usually found with the second era of the Teen Titans. Then there’s Batgirl who becomes Oracle after her secret identity is uncovered by Joker and is shot in the spine and left bleeding out before she’s found.
Bro omg this series has been so fun to watch. I was always waiting for a notification to pop up on my screen for a new episode. Characters, design everything about it was fire and I’m so happy I could watch my favorite creator play it

Ok to sum up who Jason is you should find a TH-cam video for a full story but a quick sum up of how he became the second Robin and and his “death”. After Dick Grayson retired from being the first robin to join the Titans as Nightwing, and Batman replaced Dick with Jason and then Jason started disobeying Batman as Robin, and when Jason was tracking down the Joker he trapped him in Arkham Asylum and tortured him. A couple years later and then Arkham Asylum happens and the Joker sends Deathstroke to make sure he didn’t escape but Jason offered to pay Deathstroke, so after Jason was replaced with Tim he takes on the mantle of Arkham Knight (who is an actual character that wasn’t Jason Todd in another comic) and decides to work with Scarecrow. (I hope this helps ImDontai love your vids)

Tim drake is the third robin and replaced Jason after Batman thought he died and that’s why Jason keeps bringing up him being replaced instead of Batman trying to find him not knowing Batman thought he was dead
What happened at the end there was what the fans call "Knightmare Batman" basically after Bruce "Died" he started using Fear Toxin as his own weapon. So Instead of criminals seeing a Batman they saw a bat demon monster looking thing. It allowed him to continue to be Batman while still using his number 1 weapon. Fear. I recommend going into the Extra's tab on the Arkham Knight menu screen and scrolling through the concept art until you find the Knightmare Batman picture, because it is so Fire. If you don't have that specific art unlocked yet then you can just look it up and you should find it no issue. One other thing you should try, load up a new game plus save file. When you do you get an alternate beginning cutscene. I don't wanna spoil too much cus it'd ruin the reaction. But if you wanna see somethin pretty cool then Just load up a new game plus file and watch the first cutscene of the game. The one where you burn Joker's body at the start.

Ngl they low key had the perfect opportunity to set up the Batman who laughs, and the Gotham knights game, could’ve been the bat family trying to take him down, keeping the same combat style mechanics from the Batman Arkham series.
To add more context to what the comments have said, in the comics dick left the robin mantle because he didn't want to be in the batman's shadow any longer, he felt that he couldn't be what bruce was because he still held out hope for people, so he moved to bludhaven and took up the mantle of nightwing. After dick left, batman caught jason trying to steal the wheel off the batmobile and decided "yea im going to take you in as well." So jason became the 2nd robin. Jason was a troubled child so his version of robin was a lot more brash and impulsive. Long story short he ended up chasing the joker and getting captured. He gets tortured and presumably dies from an explosion. Batman griefs and becomes a darker version of himself(ie. more violent). Tim drake wasn't picked to be robin, he actively pursued the role. He figured out batman and nightwing's identities and impressed batman so he allowed tim to become the third robin. There's 4 main robins in total (last and current one being damian wayne) but that's not relevant to the arkhamverse. Obviously there's a lot more context and story than what i've written but that's essentially the TLDR of the 3 robins

Imdontai you should try the yakuza series. Yakuza is the perfect mixture between an amazing story, badass quick time events and an extremely immersive story.Yakuza 0 would be great to start in this series as it puts you into the storyline and develops the major characters really well which you see in almost every other game. Each game is also pretty long so you can enjoy the game at your own pace without worrying about the story being too short. The game has a very fun inspired fighting style, loads of little side quests/activities and a big world for you to cruise around in. These games are true gems and after tai is done with arkham this would be an amazing game to start off with. Now I don't want to make you feel like im rushing you into it after arkham but definitely check it out. You will NOT be disapointed.
I think it would be easier for him to get into Judgment and Lost Judgment, more concise and absolute peak combat system imo

up. Joker double crossed his mom. They both die. Jason is resurrected. But Batman thinks he’s dead after finding his body and having a funeral for him. Tim becomes the third Robin. Then Bruce has a soon with Ra’s Al Ghul’s daughter. Damian Wayne. He’s trained as an assassin under the league of assassins until he’s sent off to be mentored under Batman. He becomes the fourth Robin. Usually found with the second era of the Teen Titans. Then there’s Batgirl who becomes Oracle after her secret identity is uncovered by Joker and is shot in the spine and left bleeding out before she’s found.

Ok to sum up who Jason is you should find a TH-cam video for a full story but a quick sum up of how he became the second Robin and and his “death”. After Dick Grayson retired from being the first robin to join the Titans as Nightwing, and Batman replaced Dick with Jason and then Jason started disobeying Batman as Robin, and when Jason was tracking down the Joker he trapped him in Arkham Asylum and tortured him. A couple years later and then Arkham Asylum happens and the Joker sends Deathstroke to make sure he didn’t escape but Jason offered to pay Deathstroke, so after Jason was replaced with Tim he takes on the mantle of Arkham Knight (who is an actual character that wasn’t Jason Todd in another comic) and decides to work with Scarecrow. (I hope this helps ImDontai love your vids)

Tim drake is the third robin and replaced Jason after Batman thought he died and that’s why Jason keeps bringing up him being replaced instead of Batman trying to find him not knowing Batman thought he was dead
What happened at the end there was what the fans call "Knightmare Batman" basically after Bruce "Died" he started using Fear Toxin as his own weapon. So Instead of criminals seeing a Batman they saw a bat demon monster looking thing. It allowed him to continue to be Batman while still using his number 1 weapon. Fear.
I recommend going into the Extra's tab on the Arkham Knight menu screen and scrolling through the concept art until you find the Knightmare Batman picture, because it is so Fire. If you don't have that specific art unlocked yet then you can just look it up and you should find it no issue.
One other thing you should try, load up a new game plus save file. When you do you get an alternate beginning cutscene. I don't wanna spoil too much cus it'd ruin the reaction. But if you wanna see somethin pretty cool then Just load up a new game plus file and watch the first cutscene of the game. The one where you burn Joker's body at the start.

And those who don't know what happened in the ending Batman basically took all the nightmare fuel that scarecrow had and used it against all the other criminals without him knowing so he faked his death before then and he is the nightmare fuel for fully transformed into the nightmare by and still do his job out night

Ngl they low key had the perfect opportunity to set up the Batman who laughs, and the Gotham knights game, could’ve been the bat family trying to take him down, keeping the same combat style mechanics from the Batman Arkham series.
Can’t believe the series is over already, but overall I really enjoyed being here for the whole thing.

To add more context to what the comments have said, in the comics dick left the robin mantle because he didn't want to be in the batman's shadow any longer, he felt that he couldn't be what bruce was because he still held out hope for people, so he moved to bludhaven and took up the mantle of nightwing. After dick left, batman caught jason trying to steal the wheel off the batmobile and decided "yea im going to take you in as well." So jason became the 2nd robin.
Jason was a troubled child so his version of robin was a lot more brash and impulsive. Long story short he ended up chasing the joker and getting captured. He gets tortured and presumably dies from an explosion.
Batman griefs and becomes a darker version of himself(ie. more violent). Tim drake wasn't picked to be robin, he actively pursued the role. He figured out batman and nightwing's identities and impressed batman so he allowed tim to become the third robin.
There's 4 main robins in total (last and current one being damian wayne) but that's not relevant to the arkhamverse.
Obviously there's a lot more context and story than what i've written but that's essentially the TLDR of the 3 robins

1st robin: Dick Grayson who later retired the mantle of robin and then became nightwing
2nd robin: (commonly known as “the red hood”)Jason Todd who became overconfident (essentially) and decided he could take down joker alone, he then got captured by joker and Harley Quinn then tortured physically and mentally for 6 months and then after believing Batman abandoned and replaced him he became the Arkham knight
3rd robin: Tim Drake, he is said to have almost as good investigative skills as Batman was able to track down Batman and figure out his real identity which basically allowed him to force himself to become the new robin
The knightfall protocol is the protocol where he kills off Bruce Wayne and Batman. To introduce the fear Batman where he uses the fear toxin. He was never going to die anyway it’s explained what it is and then they released a comic shortly after explaining what happened to him after the events of knight

Jason Todd became the second robin after Dick Grayson became Knightwing and left batman to do his own thing after that Jason was robin for a while then he got killed by the joker which batman got a new robin the third robin which is Tim Drake btw all the robins are his sons that he adopted.

I started the series before watching your streams. in the combats i suck. after watching your streams i started to speak like you in the middle of the combats it helps me to not get panic I was actually did better. Very good series and you are really played well. NGL I literally binged this arkham series. It was fun man
