HMMMMMMM you've given me a lot to think about. I was afraid I would watch this and see myself represented and LO AND BEHOLD at 3:44 there we are with the dream sequence. I want to say that I'm the exception to the rule, but so does everybody else and most of us are wrong by definition. The chapter title is literally 'Daydreams' so that and the obviously idealized perception of the MC are big clues to the audience that the opening narration (which is only one page, not the whole chapter) is unreliable. I'll refrain from any further justification though, this is a comment not a workshop. Thanks for putting these all together, I found it all very insightful!
