One thing that I have learned from almost 90 percent of his interviews that I've seen is that, I've never heard a guy being so honest about the drug problem and about it still being a big problem in today's world and ESPECIALLY his fearlessness about talking about the stakes of "Powerful People", indicating towards the politicians and large organizations, in giving this drug business a push, about their involvement in the expansion of this dirty business. This guy has lately been the most honest and fearless guy in the entertainment industry, according to my observation. I hope he keeps up this honesty and fearlessness.

Narcos Mexico - so addicted I'm already watching it for the second time! For those paying close attention - I'm glad this show is, although subtle, giving people the truth that this is not just Mexico. As they say - it takes two to tango. The U.S. has been a major player in pushing this drug war. Whether it is through manipulating drug cartels to fight against each other - or furnishing them with military style weapons - down to introducing them to Colombians for the Coke trade.

      B. G. Some viewers don't understand the magnitude of these characters and how larger than life they were when they reigned in the drug trade.
Amado Carillo learned the ropes from Acosta who was a monster in the drug trade in the Ojinaga border and also set him up to be taken down by Calderoni.
Amado Carillo took the business to another level and displaced the Colombian cartels and even had the audacity to jack12 tons from Escobar just because.
Growing up in L.A. in the early 90s though the word in the streets was that Manuel Salcido Uzeta was the big dawg. Under him were other bosses such as Emelio and Juan Quintero Payan and Ines Calderon Quintero and el Chapo Caro and El Azul. He was the quintessential Mexican trafficker and he was no joke. I remember when he was ambushed and shot 90 times while he was riding in Zapopan and he tried fighting back even throwing an defective grenade that failed to activate. His rise to the top is the stuff of movies. Where I grew up there lived people that were from San Ignacio and told stories about him; many hated him and others respected him, but all agreed that el Cochi was and always has been the baddest mofo of them all along with Aviles so much so that he avenged Aviles.

Big fan of Narcos, even more so about Narcos Mexico. Love the story and cinematography. I feel Diego Luna to be a well rounded actor who has evolved throughout the years from the beginning making telenovelas. I would like to see his talent more in today's television/cinema. He has much to contribute. Great job Narcos team!

I am so impressed with how well his English has gotten. Siendo mexicana americana me da mucho orgullo ver las oportunidades que le han brindando.

for the last 2 days I somehow happened to rewatch this whole series. I was even more stunned by the quality (and disgusted from the great reality) of this series and its deep message, than at the first time. Big Respect to all involved. Just brilliant!

His patience and detail in the answers are amazing. So I now love him for his passion as much as for his craft.
His absence as Felix WAS a void in season 3. Tho it was an amazing season still; I missed Felix.

Diego played the role so well, I was almost convinced he knew little to no English. He's really eloquent in the words he uses. Great actor. He's like a younger Edward Norton.
