    If you haven't tried a Proslide, it is a far superior design to the traditional 1 or 2-wheel sulkies IMO.
    I truly believe they are safer, more efficient, take up less space, keep the operator in a more natural position behind the controls, act as a stripe kit, and on and on. Highly recommended!!!

    Just so you know...I find the shop talk, the product installation, and the general banter more interesting than watching the mowers go back and forth. That's what I do all day myself. But you're pretty good at the information stuff so that's what i look for. I'm not a big fan of the music and boredom of mowing videos, sure, some is ok but your real strength IMHO is your communication skills. Look forward to your next installment....

    Selling the old sulky for cheap? Jk I doubt my lil 28" world lawn walk behind would pull it. Buuuuut it's still better than push mowing and I got a killer deal off fb because the owner couldn't get it to run right. Linkages for the choke and throttle were both hooked up wrong. Flip em around and she runs perfect.
    Debating grabbing a briggs 15.5 from a donor mower and putting that engine on if I can get it freed up. It'd be electric start instead of pull start too if I do it.
    Thanks for the content man. Appreciate it.

      You have a 28in Worldlawn? Where are you? A lot of people seem to use those around Houston. A lot nimbler than an Exmark 30, but not as heavy as a 32 walkbehind. How do you like it?

    • @JustinJoyinglife
      @JustinJoyinglife 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Axel-tk3tk I'm in California. I've only used it once on my small front yard and a tiny patch of a field behind my house. Fairly impressed with it in the field part honestly. I'd rather have a 32" stand on but not worth the expense as I'm only mowing relatives yards now.

    Randy that plate is a backing plate. It goes on the opposite side of the engine deck. It helps strengthen the mount so you don’t rip off the back of the engine deck.

  • @Wellmann41
    @Wellmann41 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think that black plate mounts behind the mower plate so it will support the weight of the driver. Those two bolts will bust through overtime.

    if you keep that trailer arrangement, might have to think about adding a side load option to the trailer to make it easier to load and unload the 36

    just a heads up, ive had one of these pro slides. when i had mine i went to go drive down into a drainage ditch to mow (it was a short, steep drop in) well i should have gotten off the pro slide, and i didnt. so when i went down the short slope into the ditch i fell backwards pretty hard. this is because the pro slide slung forward on me (it folded up) and washed out right under me, whereas a regular sulky is just in a fixed position, so it wouldn't do that. definitely scared the crap out of me as i couldve knocked myself out, or worse slid under the mower. i actually did like the pro slide, but i just wanted to mention this so you or your kid didn't get hurt.

      I've seen very similar things happen with wheeled velkes too. I've actually seen them break someone's ankle. It's like anything else, a little common sense goes a long way. Any inclines I've always stepped off. Riding it down, wheeled unit or other, you're asking for problems

    The plate is a backing plate to strengthen your machine body.... Scags are tanks so you are prob fine without it. You are supposed to sandwich the mower body between the 2 metal mount plates

    Looking forward to your review of the Pro Slide XL. I was going to buy one for my SWZT36 but I read somewhere they didn’t recommend them for decks under 48 inches. Not sure why?
