This tugs at my heart and brings tears to my eyes. I love Prince Harry and Prince William, because I loved their mother so much. Princess Diana was a woman with a loving and caring heart, not just for her family, but for all human kind. I cried liked a baby when we lost her and Mother Theresa. Beautiful Princess Diana, what wonderful sons you brought to this world. I see your smile in their smiles. This is so beautiful to me. My respect to all.

My comment was more about Princess Diana, and my thoughts were about how she would have felt, seeing her son wed. Maybe you are not a mother yet, but it's very special to see that one's child lived long enough to wed and start a life of their own.

Perhaps Curry's style of preaching might work well in America, but it was out of place at Windsor Castle (and in England and Europe in general). That type of behavior gets laughed at and ridiculed in the Old World. I was cringing through the whole 13 minute-too-long sermon...
You think Bishop Curry was misbehaving ("...that type of behavior...")? No. His outstanding sermon will be remembered long after we've gone back to the dust. "The Power of Love" set me, ME, on fire. It's is the only thing that matters. And it's why charity prevails now, for you've missed the point entirely. In the end, and when eternity beckons, it's by our good deeds we'll be known, and remembered. Peace!
Kevin Boone like I said, maybe in America that type of preaching style works quite well, but in Europe it absolutely doesn't work, and the people will NOT take you seriously. Did you not see the attendees giggling? I guarantee you it had nothing to do with his message...from their point of view he was acting like a clown and they were most likely making fun of him during the sermon for that. In the end, it comes down to cultural differences, but if you have never lived in Europe for at least 10 years, you will never understand what I'm saying.
To set the record straight, "evangelical-style" preaching is extremely rare in Europe, and the very few preachers that try to implement that style of preaching get made fun of and ridiculed all the time. Sure, they may have a powerful messages like "love and fire", etc., but those messages are NOT getting through with such a preaching style. It's how it is,

You claim his preaching style has no tradition in Europe. It does. Go back in European history. Reformation era preachers like Martin Luther didn't mimic a traditional Roman style, which was, to state the least, generally staid, and incomprehensible, as it was in Latin, which most people couldn't fully understand (and made worse for Catholic priests' backs facing congregants). And what about "respect?" Dr. Curry's presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. Why haven't folks in your tradition, and other ones, been taught about the various styles of Christian preaching? I'm a Black man in America who understands, and respects, the wealth and breath of those traditions, like you seem to. Why not teach your people about them? Maybe next time they won't disrespect -- and embarrass, themselves, when encountering something different. Don't accept things as they are, make them better -- out of love, which is Bishop Curry's message. His tradition embodies the African American history of enslavement, segregation and perpetual disfavor. And it understands the power of words and how they're conveyed, the goals of which are to overcome when all around them darkness prevails, and, instill in White/European sisters and brothers the necessity to "see" them as they see themselves, as God's children, and not mocking what they see. With all due respect, my good person.

Awe.....she looked beautiful. Harry looked so sweet as he greeted his bride. There was a true realness about their love, that clearly shined from the inside out. They are the first royal couple that allowed their emotions to shine through on their wedding day and it was really refreshing to see such vulnerability from members of the royal family. It's so sad that her dad could not walk her down the isle. Although I do not personally care for Charles, it was nice of him to step up to the plate and walk her down the isle. As for Camilla, whatever was that THING on her head!??! What was she thinking? If she was trying to draw attention to herself and off of the bride, she sadly succeeded. This was to be Meghan's day and NOT Camilla's. One has to wonder why she would choose such a hideous piece of headgear....for lack of a better word. This ridiculous law by the Church of England, that couples are not allowed to kiss during the ceremony, is absolutely pathetic, and should have been permanently removed.
