Nice video. I remember when everyone in my family spent years trying to break my record of 3m.23s in Dead Or Alive 2 time attack with Ayane. Sadly i dont remember my survival record in tekken 2. But my brother managed to reach 300 wins on Soul Calibur survival with Cervantes. He basicaly filled the hole chart with his name. 1st, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place etc.....
@@shaqyardie8105 there are videos online of players going over 300. I know my brother made 300. But cant remember exactly how much over he went. Thats why i say 300. I made around 70 with kilik lol
@@shaqyardie8105 about DOA. Well. My strategy was making the oponets stand while getting hit and try to win before they fell, and avoid waiting for them to get up. Ayane is perfect at doing that.
Yeah that's my strategy for Tekken 2 survival. They take a while to get up off the floor so I use that to my advantage. Also, you should record these great feats.
There is no set difficulty in survival mode. It slowly gets more difficult and peaks at around 30-35 wins, but it's extremely hard to win after this point.
@@shaqyardie8105 Sure will yardie, it's such a great game - always liked it best out of the main seven, ever since it hit arcades in 1995 over in the UK. Yes I was there, I am THAT old haha. I've been playing T2 a lot during this lockdown, and even managed to beat hard mode the other day (took me a LOT of continues tho!). I love how the fruit stops being fruit after so many wins :D
@@tamhaswoods9056 Aha great man. I wish I was old enough to experience the arcade era. Survival mode difficulty reaches it's maximum around 25/30 wins, but when you start getting the Pac-Mans, it's a serious test of endurance lol.
@@photondebuger45 Yeah, it can be quite difficult to get used to the tempo of the game after playing the sequels. Check out my other survival mode videos and subscribe.
@@shaqyardie8105 The game is not supposed to be this slow. I bet you are playing the pal version. The ntsc version is as fast as Tekken 3. It it also way more difficult as it is much harder to anticipate the moves of the cpu...my record currently is 20 wins with Heihachi. I've been playing Tekken 2 for over 20 years now and still love playing the survival mode.
@@RJ-cq8dd Oh wow I didn't know about this. Yes I am playing the pal version, I reside in England. I believe anticipating the moves would be around the same if I was playing NTSC version. I sometimes can predict the exact move that is going to be done by the cpu. It depends on what move you do before hand most of the time.
Omg the fruit you would get at the bottom!

Thanks. 300wins on Soul Calibur 1?! Wow that's impressive! I haven't played much DOA but that time is great.

@@shaqyardie8105 sorry my bad. Time was 3m 23s. Probably with high damage settings. Cant remember
I got a total of 35 wins using Lee making him be in first place and that is as far as I got with the score.
That's a good score. It gets harder after about 25 wins then after 40 it's a test of endurance lol.
