ASTD: Yeah, we'll do a TYBW event. *adds a total of 3 Bleach units, 2 of which are locked behind a battle pass, and not giving any existing units an Evo (i.e. Byakuya or Kenpachi) and a lackluster "bleach" event that doesnt even use a bleach map that grants fireworks for summer skins and almost immediately gets hidden behind an (also really bad) Bakugan event* AA: Huh? Thousand Year Blood War? Oh, that's right. Uh... Here's Bombietta as like. An infinity castle reward, or whatever. AWTD: a TYBW event? Sure! *adds a bunch of units with little to no representation so far in other TDs (Ichibe, Sajin, Masque De Masculine, Gremmy, etc), a good amount of whom have evolutions, a new event to grind with actual tangible rewards, an MR to work towards, who even has a new mechanic, evos for old units related to the event...* Don't get me wrong. I have my own issues with AWTD (the damage grind is an absolute NIGHTMARE sometimes, especially for either weak units or units that need to do BILLIONS of damage [looking at you, Madara]) but honestly, their updates are easily the most engaging. EDIT: though I have to admit, if there's anything to complain about for the update, it's that neither Ichibe nor Yhwach have Blessings. Even if it were as simple as getting to wield Ichimonji/the Spirit Sword respectively
Also, Shoutouts to the devs for adding what no other TD I've played so far has: cutscenes when a unit evolves. Even if it's just a line of text, (though Ulquiorra and Ichigo (teen) atleast, both have full on special cutscenes) it's more than other games give you lol
@jazeanler still haven't beat Shadow Realm myself. Mostly cuz I don't have the patience to grind long enough to Evo my units or get money from Metal Rush. But that's just a me thing lol
question which uryu is that is that going to be a new uryu or is it going to be the normal sr uryu and you can evo him becuase i already have like 5 billion or 10 billion damege on my sr uryu so just asking
