Surely we should be comparing this to a Honda Fit - Mazda Demio is also a "small car" but it's a different type of small car - its not trying to be practical and roomy like a Honda Fit, it's more about looking fashionable like a Vitz. Nissan already has the March to compete with Demio and Vitz. The side profile of the Note even looks like a Honda Fit.
