- Our buddy Beau from BBR Tuning stopped by MotoIQ Garage to get McLeod's Mag Force Twin Disk clutch installed in his beautiful BMW E46 M3! Beau's M3 sees everything from daily driving to track and drifting duty. Can this clutch stand track abuse but still be friendly on the streets?

Scene to many of those fail over 1000hp from many people and all have the same thing in common they went with a mantic triple and no problems. Not sure how much power or tq that car is pushing it might be fine under 1000hp and 900ftlbs of tq.
We us a triple disc version for up to 1200 hp in Formula Drift and it lasts all season.
@@motoiq Oh yeah I bet the triple does okay never used a triple from them only twin and I drag race so it’s a bit harder on the clutch launching on a prepped surface from a dead stop so. Thanks though good info for future builds thanks mike I might check that out. Great content man keep it coming.

Why not just get a clutch from Tilton? It sucks when your clutch needs to be serviced and the parts are hard to get. There's also a wide variety of clutch / release mechanism parts from Tilton .

I just installed this clutch and its so noisy did snyone had same experience with this clutch?
Its super quiet for a twin disc. You could be hearing transmission noise, the stock dual mass flywheel damps a lot of that out and when you get rid of that and bolt a light flywheel on the transmission rattles.

It feels like burn clutch grabs all the way up

@@bimmer46projects34 did you ever figure it out? I just installed mine and have some pretty gnarly decel 6K RPM ----> 4K it vibrates quite loud.
