    Make sure your hoodie doesn’t rub on microphone. That will increase the noise level.
    I don’t think you adjust it when you post calibrate it. You just simple record the post calibration, by placing the calibrator on the microphone. After you stop the reading, and then place calibrator on the microphone, equipment knows you are doing a post calibration.

      Correct, post calibration is done to determine if the instruments accuracy was compromised during the sample. If the difference between pre and post calibration is 1 db or greater some experts recommend throwing out the results and resampling.
