very usefully video, thanks
I just got my first RC boat , thank you so much for this video
Great tip, will buy a boat soon.
Nice one Peter!
Thanks for the tips 👍
Hallo the grease in the headlines is that a problem can he dont snap out greetings
Great video thankyou. How would you consider making a seal for a battery hatch so water doesn't seap into battery sector?
an additional safeguard to prevent water from entering through the hatch is to use gaffer tape. It would act as a secure seal, also prevent the hatch from accidentally coming off in a crash. If the boat is airtight, it acts as positive bouyancy to prevent that sinking feeling... ;) Hope that helps, happy boating!
Great video!
Thank you for the positive feedback! We're glad to hear it! :)
You didn't explain how much to tighten the collar. This is important as the washer I was told needs to have a 2mm gap in front of the prop ? So it can run more freely ?
Hi Max, thanks for the suggestion! We will look to do a more detailed video that goes through setting up tolerances and spacing drive washers, in the mean time if you need help with a specific boat feel free to reach out to us at support@metrohobbies.com.au
I have a Stealthwake 23 it started to make a buzzing noise then it slowed down,it has a brass stuffing tube that the prop shaft slides into ,I haven’t greased it for awhile ,I think that’s the problem,I pulled the shaft pumped some grease in it ,not sure how much,as when the shaft is put in it comes out of the shaft any tips on how much grease to use. Thanks for any information 🇨🇦🇨🇦
How often do you grease the old shaft?
Hi Terrance, We would recommend you do it once you have finished using it before you put it away :)
Sexy mustache! Looks fabulous...
