We’re looking for a Seneca now, and learning a lot from your videos. Good job!

Great. Let us know if you have any questions. We are about to hit our 3-year-RVanniversary.

    Hi Amber and Jeremy,
We really enjoy your videos as we learn our new 2020 Seneca. What GPS system do you use when traveling. We are looking at the Garmin RV 785. Also, I see you changed out your radio/GPS/back up camera that came with your Seneca? What did you go with? On our Seneca, we like the back up camera and want to keep that availability but was hoping for a better navigation system screen. Also, we have the same fire pit you guys travel with. What connections did you have to buy to make it work?

Hi Janell, Glad the videos are helpful. We don’t have a great GPS for the RV. We use a Kenwood CarPlay stereo so it connects with our iPhones and dash cameras, but the built in GPS is not specific to big trucks. I check our routes against the Allstays app (so I know about tunnels and steep grades) and we use a truckers atlas. I also build our trips in RV Trip Wizard but we can’t always stick to those plans while on the road. (Like now when we are dealing with road closures due to wildfires and need to detour). In terms of the propane, we found a connection piece from a propane company that is specific to the larger propane tanks like we have on the Senecas. I can’t remember the company because it has been a few years. I’m sorry because I know figuring that out is such a pain.

@@RVHomeschool Thank you so much for the information. We use RV Trip Wizard as well. RV Trip Wizard is good for planning our routes but want to have a GPS for the dash that knows our height and weight. Seeing all the places you are going in your Seneca gives me confidence that with some planning, we should be fine once we hit the road. So much to learn. We have had travel trailers for 30 years but the Super C is a whole new experience. Thank you for your videos. Keep them coming and save travels.

Were you towing a car also?

Yes, we always tow a Jeep Wrangler behind our Jayco Seneca.
