Awesome look at some of the stuff they did out of 12 Personnel. I wonder what the overall 12 Personnel percentage will actually end up being in 2024. It was about 11% last season. Could definitely see an increase of 5-10%, possibly more.
I know Monken ran some 22 personnel with Bowers in the backfield but couldn't find it. I am guessing The 2 TE rotation would have to increase to be at max effect I think.
I'm definitely interested in this topic. Like you said the skill sets don't match up with Georgia, but the fact that they're the best players and weapons does. I am wondering what teams will do to match up if they go 2 tes and Ricard in the middle of the field. The ability of Likely and Andrews to hurt the seems should make it difficult decisions for the safety all day in any formation or group.
The Ravens are gonna need to use 2 tight ends for those defenses like the chiefs that stack the boxes. And the tight ends are going to have to beat their man and catch the ball. In the KC game last year Simpson was constantly on the ground and hills blocking was bad . Lamar had a open lane to run on one occasion but tried to force a pass to Andrews. Lamar overlooked Bateman right in front of him in a slant. Blocking has to get better and deep ball passes also. With King Henry they should go a long way.
I believe harbaugh will expect monken to use a lot of what Greg Roman did in 2019 with 3 TEs, but add his own concepts and just do a better job at gameflow
