  • Early evidence of God's name!
The Greeks needed to change a few things when Christianity came their way. They needed a Greek god, a Greek Jesus, and less of anything in the Bible that was Hebrew - including the name of YeHoVaH. Dr. Miles Jones shares where this came from and how the Name has changed since the original inscriptions at the Exodus.

The primal cry of a newborn upon delivery from the womb of his mother (for 6000 years + in EVERY nation, tongue, tribe and ethnic group) is WAH WAH WAH - the tiny vulnerable infant crying out for help and comfort when the Ruach haQ'Dosh breathes His breath of life into the lifeless form and he becomes a living soul! And, the Child will continue to scream this for the next moonth or so (some, longer).
    IT. IS. PRECIOUS.

@koreyoneal2623 I found this on the internet. Well written too.
      Yehovah - יְהֹוָה means:
      Hayah - הָיָה Hoveh - הֹוֶה Yihyeh - יִהְיֶה
He was He is He will be
      - Ehyeh
Translated “I AM” in most English translations, the Hebrew meaning is closer to “I WILL BE.” It is not the Name, but it is the key to the meaning of the YHVH - יְהֹוָה.
The root of the word ehyeh - אֶהְיֶה - is hayah - הָיָה (HYH), the verb “to be.”
All Hebrew words (nouns, verbs, and adjectives) have a 3-letter root. Verbs are declined (changed in form) according to seven conjugations. Qal is the basic, simple conjugation. All other stems are derived from it. Nearly 70% of verbs are Qal. Within each conjugation, verbs are either perfect or imperfect. Perfect verbs can be understood as indicating one time action. Imperfect verbs indicate continuous action.
Keep in mind as we move forward that where English uses separate words to indicate person (I, you, he, she, we, they, my, your, his, her, our, their, etc.), Hebrew does this through prefixes and suffixes on a single word. A single Hebrew word may contain a prefix and suffix.
איתנ - EYTaN Letters (Aleph, Yod, Tav, Nun)
Below are the four prefixes of Hebrew verbs in the Imperfect (future) forms in all conjugations. When these prefixes are seen on a verb, it indicates incomplete action and is usually translated in the future tense.
      א - ‘ = I Will
      י - Y = He Will
      ת - T = She Will
      נ - N = We Will
Qal Imperfect conjugation of the root היה - HYH - “to be”:
אהיה = Ehyeh = I will be (1st person singular)
יהיה = Yihyeh = He will be (3rd per. masc. sing.)
תהיה = Tihyeh = She will be (3rd per. fem. sing.)
נהיה = Nihyeh = We will be (1st per. plural)
      הָיָה הֹוֶה יִהְיֶה
Reading from right to left, the first word above Hayah (past tense) means He was. The second word Hoveh (present tense) means He is. Finally, Yihyeh (imperfect or future tense) means He is to be (He will be). Ehyeh (first person singular, imperfect tense) means I will be.
There is a Jewish song called the “Adon Olam” which contains this explanation in the following line:
והוא היה והוא הוה והוא יהיה בתפארה
      V’hu hayah, v’hu hoveh, v’hu yihyeh b’tifarah.
And He is He who was, And He is He who is,
and He is He who will be in glory.
From these three words, the Tetragrammaton is formed.
יהיה - Yihyeh (He Who is to be)
הוה - Hoveh (He Who is)
היה - Hayah (He Who was)
      יהוה - Ye-hov-ah!
God’s personal name is basically an acronym made from these three phrases. The first yod - י - from Yihyeh - יהיה, the heh and vav - הו - from Hoveh - הוה, and the final heh - ה - from Hayah - היה. This acronym means He will be Who He is and Who He was!
So then, if God said “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh” (I will be who I will be), then why is His name not Yihyeh (He will be)?
God is communicating through His name His eternal ongoing nature by combining all the forms of the verb ‘to be’ into one unique name! He is letting us know that He always was, He always is, and He always will be! (Does this phrase have a familiar ring to it? It should! We will get to that later.) Yehovah was revealing His nature to Moses, speaking in the first person - I AM THAT I AM - Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh. But when He reveals His Shem HaMeforash that the Israelites are to remember and mention, He uses the third person - HE WAS, HE IS, HE IS TO BE - Hayah, Hoveh, Yihyeh. In other words, He refers to Himself as I AM - Ehyeh; we call Him Yehovah - YHVH.
The fact that God’s eternal nature is expressed in יְהֹוָה was/is easily understood by Hebrew speakers. This concept was also expressed in other ways in Scripture, and can also be seen in the Targum.

Did James run the new church as an inverted pyramid? AND Did the new church maintain this style after James and for how long?

upon watching this video, my mind went to the 4 creatures around God's throne, mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 1, and Revelation chapter 4 verse 7... 2 of their faces happen to be a calf or ox (ox is what Ezekiel saw) and a face of a man... so I was wondering if the name of God might be represented by these creatures..
However, I'm not sure what the lion and the flying eagle would represent...
For me, the lion brings to mind, the Lion of the tribe of Judah...
but the eagle, for some reason, i am unable to reference it with anything other then majestic/majesty of God... just a thought, not sure if it's anything, but wondering if you'd have any insight for this..
i would also like to mention, that long before God brought me to your channel, I was blessed with an original copy of the 1611 KVJ, in modern english, and the letter 'J' is absent from most of the text, so the name of God was rendered 'Iehouah' and was pronouced as Yehovah, by the earthly church for about 1600 years, till the masons added 'J' to our alphabet, which also changed the name of Jesus, which was previously Iesus, which was pronounced Ya shews...
So I've been calling Him by these names a couple of years before finding this channel..
I was floored that God had revealed His true name to me, as I don't consider myself anyone great, and usually see myself as pretty pathetic of a believer in Yeshua, though I know I am a child of Abraham, as all that are in Christ are the promised seed, as is made very plain in Galatians chapter 3... and God is still raising up seed unto the promise He made to Abraham..
Anyway, just wanted to praise God for bringing me to your channel.. and encourage you by letting you know what a blessing this channel is to my life..
    Shabbat Shalom to you all...

While Christianity has put its own spin on the name, the real culprits are found wtitin the rabbinic community. No one will ever know this name until God is ready to reveal it.
Some get close but still fall short of the mark.

📜The Name of יְהֹוָה is a strong tower; The righteous run into it and are safe.
      Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 18:10 TS2009
According to 2,458 Hebrew Bible Manuscripts
The Name of G-d is pronounced: YeHoVaH יְהֹוָה
YOD sheva HEH cholam VAV kamatz HEH
Proclaim Yehovah's name. It was removed from our Holy Bible's. LORD is a title not a name.
📖The key to understanding the meaning of the name Yehovah in Exodus 3:14 is Ehyeh "I am". Ehyeh literally means "I will be". Yehovah is a combination of three forms of the same verb, "to be": haya ("He was"), hoveh, ("He is"), and Yihiyeh, ("He will be"). When you combine haya, hoveh, and yihiyeh (He was, He is, He will be) you get Yehovah.

Timeline 22:12 "graven images"(quote) To elaborate: "Forming an object of worship that you've affixed set characteristics of your design." (Or, adopted ancient teachings of set characteristics into your worship. )
Example: "It was impossible for the Pharisee to recognize Jesus - because, they were worshiping an image that their ancestors designed. "
Essentially, "Moses was exalted over Jesus."
Their preconceived notion, expectation was "graven"/ immovable/ set in stone -within their minds.
With all their devotion to learning the established information about a god that their father's worshiped; i.e. "Idolatry of the Pharisee"... they were made unsuitable to receive God. Hence, Jesus moved His ministry away from the Pharisee.
"Jesus knocked, and there was no answer."
I think on the pride they exhibited; while purporting to know something that can't be known- unless it is revealed by God alone.

When was the Hebrew scriptures called old testament? And why was it called old testament?

    • @penitoanikeve7288
      @penitoanikeve7288 2 ปีที่แล้ว

That is a very good question and I have asked that too.
Now, in fact, Bible was and is a compilation of books, the Torah which is the 5 books written by Moses, then we have the Psalms, then the Major Prophets and Minor prophets, the Gospels, the Apostles and Revelation.
      These are the main categories.
So the council of Nacaea, around 325AD, representing the majority of Christian groups, decided to put together a compilation of Judaism prophets and Christians writings, formulated a guide to determine whether a book qualified to be included into the compilation.
That's how the Bible came to be.
Then, they must have decided to name the two main categories, one for those writings before the time of Jesus, the other for those writings during and after the time of Jesus.
Hence, old testament and new testament was decided upon.
However, in my opinion, this is not the best categorization.
It should have been kept separate as the 7 categories I gave above.
The reason is, a lot of the prophets prophesied of events, yet to be fulfilled, prophets like Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, even the Psalms, etc.

Dr. Miles Jones speaking to Scott Laird on A Rood Awakening:
    Timestamp 27:24
    Changing The Name of God.
I live in a town that has a seven hundred, and seventy seven (77') foot hallowed cross. Huge, it's huge and sculptered garden around it alright. There's a huge, it's very impressive, it's a wonderful place. I go up there all the time alright.
This is in Kerville, Texas where I live. So if you go down interstate 10 you should, you'll see it, you should drop off and take a look at it but, uh, um. There's a huge difference between praying at the cross and praying to the cross. If you think your god is in a piece of metal or stone, you're wrong. It's not, it's not about that. But, the more primitive people are in their religious practice, the more they will pray to that, that idol, instead of praying to the real G-d.
Scott Laird: Right, because the real G-d is ethereal, hard to grasp, they need something in front of them.
Dr. Jones: G-d is a Spirit. It's easier to worship the seen than the unseen. And this is the thing He's trying to prevent them from doing.💥

Archaeology= YAHU (ooh). The Uau (Vav is what the modern Hebrew is) as a vowel.
The Letter "W" literally means "Double U." From the research I've done, U came before W, and "V" is Yiddish/Germanic (not Semitic).
But YAH leads us into all Truth if we are seeking Him, asking Him, and testing everything.

How is it that the 4 letters of YHVH that are the 4 worlds is the name of a God , there was get that was a garment that was made and had 4 primary letters that meant Y= Atzluth+fire, H = Assiah + earth, V = Yetzirah+air, H= Briah+water, but there is also other sets of letters like the 12 letter set and the 22 letters set and the 33 letter set the 42 and 72 letter set. This garment was thrown down. There sin was making a jail house out of it. These days it is Jesus and his Father the holy spirit. 1 of 144000

The prophets have names like YashaYAHU (Isaiah), YeremeYAHU (Jeremiah), and “W-waw” only became “V-vav” in modern times. I personally don’t believe Yahuah will fault anyone for not knowing how to pronounce his real name because it was stolen for so many years; however, to ignore the evidence that it would not have been Yehovah or Jehovah seems kind of silly to me. If anything, Yahweh would be a more correct pronunciation. His Name was left in the names of the prophets for a reason, and I believe it is to point us to the truth.

Yahuah is the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Father of Yahusha. The Cepher is a good source! Cepher Academy is helpful here on TH-cam! I feel like the angel gave Mary, who's name wasn't Mary, the name Yahusha. GOD appears to be a GOD of names! We will get a white stone with a new name on it! The Hebrew names of the old testament all have meaning that tell a story in order. Yahuah is the living GOD. Yahusha is His son's name. Using Jehova and Jesus I can't believe are issues for salvation. He k ows the inward thoughts of our hearts! 🕯🌾📜

Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Galatians 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Isn't the communion bread supposed to be unleavened? That's what the Bible says and every church I've had the pleasure of partaking in communion used unleavened bread except for 1 which was a "Brethren" church and they're pretty Wierd and not all that biblical to begin with.

It's a Bad idea to call Yahweh Elohim "GOD" , which means " Fortune" in Hebrew. It is also Pagan European contraction for Godan (ODIN) If you use the word "GOD" you're doing the same thing the Greeks did with the Replacement name for Yeshua.

Shabbat Shalom v'b'richot to all the believers in Yeshua. Restoring the Hebraic understanding is very important to fully embrace what HaShem wants to teach us. The only thing I can for a certainty, is that the name of the Holy One of Israel is NOT Yahweh!

Exodus 20: 7. Friend, Thou shalt not make the name of Yehovah of no effect.
      To say haShem/the Name,
      is to omit His name,
and make it of no effect.
Not here addressing what exactly His name pronunciation is; addressing the neglecting of choosing a pronunciation and according to the command, using it.

The 3rd Hebrew word יצוה is pronounced "yitzaveh" in Psalm 91:11 and this is an indicator that His Name may have used these same vowels; for if you temporarily switch the 2nd letter here from Tzadi to Hey, it will pronounce God Almighty's Name to "Yahweh." So despite what we think (you and I together) we are not sure how exactly with absolute certainty that His Name was vowelized. Personally, I've been saying "YeHoVaH," but what is important is that no matter how we vocalize It, we are to direct our intention to Our Heavenly Father alone.

      It means "Awesome And Always."
Bcz in Ben Yehudah's Heb/Eng dictionary "Yah" means 2 things; "Fearful" & "Awesome" ...so properly the 1st half is "Fearfully Awesome."

And the Christians repented of their fear and hatred of humanity; they repented of their idolatry of family and friends.
Wolves teach their young to kill the (sinners) naked people who don't know they are naked, bleeding and injured.
Sheep teach their young to love God with all their hearts and love their neighbors as themselves; they showed grace, mercy and compassion to the (sinners) naked people who don't know they are naked, bleeding and injured.
The Christians believed Jesus when He said that their enemies were those of their own households and that everyone else were their neighbors.
The beast will stand in their fleshly temple and declare that they are sinless; worthy to throw the first stone (devour, destroy, kill, execute enemies and sinners [support the death penalty]).
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said not to call any man common or unclean. All three times.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said that He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said that He does not want any sinner to die.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said "Woe unto you which desire The Day of The LORD; for The Day of The LORD is darkness and not light."
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said that every sin will be forgiven, not theirs only, but the sins of the whole world.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said "For God so loved the world."
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said "Go into the highways and the hedges and invite to my wedding all kinds of people, both good and bad, and my wedding will be furnished."
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said that they were evil and God alone is good.
And the Christians considered everyone as better than themselves.
And the Christians didn't consider anything that they owned as their own.
And the Christians didn't sue anyone in court and the Christians who were sued in court gave more than asked for by the people who sued them.
And the Christians took the wrong.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said "Woe unto you which have small children and infants in those days."
And the Christians turned the other cheek then leapt for joy and rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer for the Name of Christ Jesus their God and King.
And the Christians prayed "Forgive them Father, they don't know what they are doing."
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said the evil in the world was going to wax worse and worse; they knew that Donald Trump and their vote would not change what God promises was going to happen.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said the people who return evil (a bullet to the face is evil) for evil, are not His disciples and have built their house on the sand and God promises that their house will greatly fall.
And the Christians didn't idolize their children, parents, families, friends and neighbors because they feared God more than they feared men and death.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said the new heaven was better than this life.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said that life begins when our fleshly bodies die.
And the Christians believed Jesus and John and revelation, that only Jesus holds a sword to destroy evil.
And the Christians believed Jesus when He said that if He wanted to kill someone, He would have His angels from heaven do the killing, not His humans from earth.

This inscription (יהוה) which denotes YHWH, is the name of the God of Israel.
Due to its sacredness, the Israelite scribes replaced the name with the words, The LORD.
they were not permitted to say it at all.
However, translation and inclusion of the vowels, have somewhat distorted the name. True.
As "The LORD" is a reference to יהוה only and always.
That is the reason, that The LORD, יהוה , took on flesh, in the likeness of man, the flesh being named Jesus, to enable anyone who believes in Him in His death and resurrection and whoever calls upon this name, can be saved, Jesus is the only name given under heaven that men might be saved.
No one can be saved by calling upon יהוה. Why?
As far as יהוה is concerned, the wages of sin is death.
But through Jesus Christ, men can be saved.
The LORD יהוה redeemed mankind unto Himself by Himself.
This is also the reason, when Moses asked יהוה, of what to tell the Israelites of who sent Him, יהוה told Moses to say I AM sent you.
    Why?
Because יהוה cannot be fathomed by human minds even the wisest or the brightest. Our human brains are too tiny insignificant to fathom the Greatness Holiness Godliness Purity of יהוה. Its Impossible to know it.
