    You can go to Home Depot and get a set of their sku 574128. Model 803218.

      Nice. Good to know. Would've been easier but taken longer to go to the store and back.

      Walter, I wanted to thank you for this comment.. I can confirm that this is the correct thread pattern and depth from Home Depot.
      Although the screw heads will not sit flush as the OEM RomeoZ screws do, for me, they happen to sit perfectly to the side of (and slightly above) the OEM Hellcat iron sight. I feel like it narrows down the field of view favorably and seems to help my eye acquire target even more quickly. Two pillars now arise slightly, with a red dot between them and the meniscus of the iron sight makes acquisition the easiest of all of my handgun setups. I now feel completely satisfied with this setup whereas I nearly returned the Romeo because of all of this. Thanks to both of you for the directions!

      @@goofballbiscuits3647 yes they sit on top, but I find that it helps “center” the view for me personally

      @@walth5336 Oh yessir! I couldn't agree more. I actually picked up some flush m4 .7x10mm screws from Cal Ranch today. I am planning on range days both ways and seeing if acquisition is better without flush screws (as I think it will be, I guess).

      Yeah it's quick and easy, especially if you don't have a broken hand! I tried shooting it lefty one handed, that didn't work out too good. Hahh. Red dot looks good tho.

      Nice. I like the 13's. I see you're a Clone Wars fan. Great show. I used to work as a lead artist at Lucas and got to see a lot of the makings of that show. Checkout our SW short film BLUE on my channel and let me know what ya think.

      @@FPdesignfab Correct. I'm a big Ahsoka fan. So glad to see her in The Mandalorian. I couldn't find the Blue film on your channel, but there's a lot of 'making of Blue' videos. I found Blue on the MegalithicEnt channel. Very well done. The kids are great! The costumes are fantastic, especially Boba Fett. It was like seeing him right out of the movies. Great job!

    • @FPdesignfab

      The 3M isn't enough to fill this gap. You can see daylight. Best comment award goes to the person who put the SKU for the exact screw you can use from Home Depot. Ez pz gg.

    is this only with the romeo zero or do all micro red dots have to have screws shaved down?

    • @FPdesignfab
      @FPdesignfab  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's probably different with each manufacturer. The HEX WASP may be a good choice. I think it bolts right on and sits low to co-witness.

  • @ShadowFox0324
    @ShadowFox0324 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So I put this on my Hellcat but there's a gap
    There's also 2 nubs on the slide as well. I was told to file them off
    Are there not adapter plates for the Zero? Worse comes to worse I'll get a Swampfox Sentinel and put the zero on something else

    • @FPdesignfab
      @FPdesignfab  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I only filed down the screws. You shouldn't need to file nubs on slide. Nubs should snug up under the zero. If there's still a gap I'd file down the screws more. Mine had a gap on first mount, I filed screws another 64th or 32nd and it mounted down tight.

    • @FPdesignfab

      also bevel the edge of screws a bit. the threaded hole is cupped or beveled in the bottom not 90

    Not as good as the holosun 507k or 407k. Only thing I hate about the holosun is you do have to modify or buy the plate

    • @FPdesignfab
      @FPdesignfab  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I probably would've preferred a Holosun, but the zero was available, less expensive and works fine. I like SIG product. Wanted a 365xl but got tired of waiting so I grabbed a Hellcat.
