Wish they'd modify this so the king and the landmark's first destruction each gives +10 pop. Also, killing the king means they can't rebuild landmarks remainder of the game. Player can be eliminated if their king has been killed and each of their landmarks have been destroyed at least once.
So you want the game mode to be x10 more complicated for what purpose?
@@jamestucker4800 How is that much more complicated? Players still want to kill the king (+10 pop, stops rebuilding landmarks), it's just not automatic win without also destroying each of the landmarks at least once.
@@NukeMarine its 3 additional non obvious rules added for what exactly?
1. king is worth 10 pop
2. Landmarks are worth 10 pop
3. king dies no longer eliminates but instead restricts landmark repair
and what does it add exactly? king elimination allows for some cool underdog plays where as your suggestion would just slow down the game (which ffas are usually fairly long in the first place) and practically guarantee underdogs no chance against a leading player.
The only change i think king should get is half the pop gain (maybe round to 30 since 25 is an odd number when most civs houses give +10) cuz 50 is such a huge advantage and yeah the point is to get ahead and reward aggro but its so much pop it very quickly turns into an untouchable deathball
@@dom7899The advantage is that people don't donate the king anymore. This happens to me a lot in FFAs that the opponent is tilted and gives his king to another player so you don't get it. it is so annoying
@@dom7899 A different option, if you like the insta loss, killing the king is loses the game, but the king is only 10 pop and their landmarks are also worth 10 pop each first time they're destroyed, including after player leaves the game (marked w/ a crown or something to help it stand out).
Less imbalance by killing a player early (only get 10 or 20 pop), also lower impact if losing player runs their king off out of spite. Also encourages early engagement to take out landmarks at least once for the +10 pop.

I've never seen a coastal trade in megarandom after they changed the spawn system. They need to bring back truly random trades and sacred sites. Every map is king of the hill nowadays

What do u spam click where u want ur people to go? Is there a Point behind it?
My guess is for keeping a constant pace/rhythm. I saw some video where a pro rts player said that he spam clicks in the early part of a game to warm his fingers up and to keep a constant pace so that when he needs to move quickly he does not have to switch back and forth between slower speed and faster speed. When u watch the pros play, they all seem to do that. But I am a newbie, there could be many reasons. The better players can comment.

@@hatenate2070yeah I've accidentally found myself sort of spamming at the start of the game in a moba (I guess I never played enough RTS to have it happen there much). I'll find myself clicking constantly just where I want to go (but spam clicking with only minor changes in destination). I sometimes start having my hand hurt from clicking so much and have to play slower and stop spamming at the start haha. But yeah, if you're tryharidng and playing fast, it feels weird to just click slowly

When you start getting used to playing super fast during games like pros at the start of the game you end up sort of spamming stuff at the start out of habit, even though you don't really need to at the early stage in the game. At some point it feels weird to have your fingers just "chill" when they're accustomed to doing stuff.
