Sky Princess

What an amazing cruise we’ve had on Sky Princess to the Land of the Midnight Sun! This was originally booked for June 2020 and then cancelled due to Covid. We then rebooked for June 2021 when it got booked for a second time. After leaving it for a couple of years, we decided third time lucky for 2024.
We’ve been on many cruises in the past (this was our 19th!) but this was the first with Princess Cruises. Princess ships are a little more upscale than some other cruise lines, and this may explain that there aren’t so many children on board.
There’s plenty of activities to choose from, such as quiz nights, live music, spa treatments, films on the ‘Movies Under The Stars’ screen, the Princess Casino, wine tasting, martini and cocktail demonstrations, dance classes, production shows in the main theatre, bingo, fitness classes - and much more!
You’ll be spoilt for choice for dining with twelve restaurants on board, including the Marketplace buffet, Italian, Sushi, Crown Grill and Pizzeria. There’s also eight bars, a Gelato and an Ice Cream Bar on board so there’s something for everyone!
Some people like to get really involved with the on board activities and plan their days accordingly. If you prefer something more relaxed and laid back, you can do as little as you like, just find a quiet corner and read a book!
There are plenty of excursions to choose from when visiting different destinations, you can do your own thing when you go ashore, or even stay on the ship - it’s entirely up to you.
