    What I love about the team is that pretty much every option has something over the others.
    The specialists are pretty much clear, Armsmen have GA2 and both the chainsword and autopistol have something over power weapons and bolt pistol. Heck even the shotgun technically has the range advantage over the pistols. They are not equally good, but everything has its role.

    One issue with kitbashing a second gunner:
    The gunner has the same heavier void suit as the Endurant, which is reflected by the one extra wound he has. When putting the gun on a voidsman you obviously loose that game aesthetic neatness.
    I also like how the Grenadiers blast absorption armor is considered in the rules ;-)
    On averagehe las volley hits 3.5 times, that's nothing to scoff at and actually kinda is AP in it's own. Provided there are enough hits, there's no real distinction between more hits or less saves. Crits (on both sides) are a different matter, but relentless actually increases the crit chance by chance to miss*chance to crit (1/2*1/6=1/12 in this case).

      Thinking about it, an extra hit ALWAYS takes a save away, whereas AP might (they might not make the roll. On average AP lets AP rating*chance to save more hits to go through). Crits complicate the matter a bit, but relentles also increases your crit cance by chance to miss*chance to crit. The lasvolley does 14 damage with 3 regular hits and 1.5 crits and the plasma 10.67 spread across 1.33 hits and 0.67 crits with one less save.
      A 3+ save would 1.5 hits and 0.5 crits against the lasvolley, for a total of 6.5 damage and 1 hit and 1/3 crit against plasma for a total of 7, if a crit is rolled (else it's going to be 6.67). With the higher dmg the lasvolley outperforms the plasma even here.

    brace for counter attack makes the damage threshholds way more interesting to give stims to those models that already have more wounds

    Can't you only take one stim? Doesn't it say you can only take one piece of equipment once?

      No you can happily take multiple Stimms. Some pieces of Equipment can only be taken once: Anything with the indirect special rule (as per the balance dataslate) so Frag and Krak Grenades. And anything marked with a + as being able to be selected a maximum of once, such as the System Override Device for this team. But Stimms, Slugs, Rebreathers and Stun Grenades can all be taken more then once!

      it can drop it and run because the surveyor pays the AP, not the CAT. Breach and clear, wayfind, drop the token, then swap to CAT and bail.

    I think I'll pick up 2 boxes of these and give away the Kinstalkers like I did for Nachmund with the Legionnaries.

      Not a bad plan, if you have use for two sets of terrain. Otherwise one box plus eBay might be your way forward.
