For example
You have pebble Lee(from code)
He only trains strength and speed
But with reroll tokens, his stat can change to -> strength speed and durability or jump

Champions can have traits, you use them to roll those traits. Of the two he showed, if seems they can increase the amount the champion trains per tick, as well as increase the hp and defence gain they give. So I assume it'll be various forms of that, maybe with rarer ones giving entire new abilities like healing every few seconds.
