yes its almost like she is conflicted and is fighting with herself but knows that staying is the worst possible thing ever.Im leaving and you cant stop me
I like how her Veronica is a mix between Barrett's and Carrie's Veronica but also she adds more to the character in tearms on how she reacts, also i really love her hair and the way she speaks during the proshot, equally iconic as the two original Veronica actresses
That nasal to her voice makes her sound sort of like a ‘stereotypical nerdy geek’ reflecting what she is truly and the power of that despite her now ‘beautiful’ appearance. Showing she is still the same person she is.
She is fantastic as Veronica and (as someone who has been a lifelong fan of Winona, the original film and has only recently seen the musical for the first time); Ailsa fits this role perfectly. So many amazing songs in the show but this is my favourite! Thanks for posting!
This is an amazing song and i heard it for the first time in this taped show. She is phenomonal, even the guy who.played JD looked so proud of her singing this song (i suspect he didnt know he was in the shot)
"Blame your childhood, blame your dad Blame the life you've never had But hurting people, that's your choice my friend" For some reason I love this part
This is my favorite version of the song, she put so much emotion into every line!
Yes!!!

ate UP!!
How does she lose her accent like that and sounds so entirely different
Lots of practice, but I find it’s much easier for British people to imitate certain accents usually then it is for Americans a lot of the time.
