I’m watching this video in February 2024. I have sewn since 1946 or 1947. I learned on an electric Singer that looked like your machine but I must admit I have never managed to sew one handed while turning the wheel! You amaze me! I’m totally besotted by your videos and your lovely family. I spent most of yesterday afternoon catching up on older videos that I seem to have missed. My daughter makes dolls and teddy bears but I do patchwork and quilting. I have two 1947 Singers, one is a treadle and the other a Featherweight. ❤ all of your videos and have been watching since Sadie brought Billy and family to visit. I’m thrilled that the channel has finally taken off and hope it keeps building for the Legends. ❤❤❤ to all
Fascinating video! You are so talented. What a joy to be able to watch a gifted artist at work! Thank you for taking us along on this creative, magical journey, Jenny. 🧸♥️
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am a crafter and gave it up because I like you "believe". I haven't done anything crafty in years because I was made to feel I should grow up. You have inspired me to be who I am and I have picked up my felting needles to make fantasy creatures. You are right coming up with the faces is addictive. Sending love and light to you and yours.
Oh, it was sooo hard not to reach into the camera and give this new creation a squeeze!!!! I made a wee piggy once from felt and popsicle legs, it took hours and hours because I was clueless in how to go about each part of the process and then I made a sock doll and oh, my... talk about wobbly, but I've kept them anyway because they have so much character. I do love your workshop,, environment is everything in creating a world of your imagination, so it's no wonder your sweet parrot friend loves to hang out with you., as she's magical too!
you're so creative.🌸 i used to have a brown teddy bear from my birth year (1969). somewhere years ago, it got lost. i sure would love to find one again.
Wow, Jennie, amazing!! This bear does not seem to have an official name presently, so I have been calling her/him Baby Bear. I winced when that long needle went through the head. It's the empathic part of me and I couldn't help it!! The eyes and nose are darling and you have endowed Baby Bear with beautiful facial features. This bear is so happy with the ears you fashioned, Jennie, because now my words are audible. What am I saying, you ask? "I love you, Baby Bear!!" Thank you so much for this video, Jennie, and spurring my imagination to run wild!! Chuck in Northern New England
I think your incredible. My friend made us one 24 years ago and gave it to us on mine and my husband's wedding day. She sewed a rainbow patch on the chest. It is called HE SHE BEAR. IT HAS A BONNET AND JACKET TO MAKE IT A GIRL. Hence, HE SHE.
