Jackson Wang is the dopamine for me. ❤him to the moon and back.
I've spent a few weeks following Jackson closer than I have any other Kpop/Cpop/Jpop/Tpop star. He's an amazing person with an incredible amount of talent and a very compelling life story of which I can relate. This is true moreso than most other entertainers in the genre.
Jackson's birthday is just in a few days. I know that fans around the world are celebrating his birthday already and looking to have even greater celebrations on his special day. I know he's still in the process of mental healing and hope these celebrations lift his spirits rather than depress him.
When I went through a similar depressed period of my life, I rarely listened to the people around me about how good my life was at the time. Showered with money and prestige, I still felt like s**t most of the time. My parents and some of my friends told me I wasn't being grateful for my many blessings. It wasn't that I was not grateful, I was just not in a place of contentment about myself and my personal situation. I became a shopaholic and blew thru a TON of cash. It's embarrassing and scary how much money I pissed away.
During this time period, I also noticed that a helluva lot of bad people entered my life. One person embezzled money of which I was almost blamed for by the police. Dangerous men entered my life and I almost ended up in a nightmare situation physically. I drank and partied trying to banish the hurt and pain, but the s**t kept happening to me no matter what I tried. Finally, one unfortunate event took place that made me almost want to kill myself. That's when I knew it was time to get help. So, I went into therapy. It took me awhile, but I made it back from the darkness. I have no intention of returning to that way of life ever again.
Jackson's fans try to encourage him and let him know that they care. But Jackson needs to feel it for himself. He needs to love and care for himself. Regardless of the mistakes he's made or will make in the future, he is who he is. Jackson needs to accept himself, high points and low points. He's human, not a god. And he shouldn't be unrealistic about that.
I pray that Jackson makes it through his 30th birthday. My 30th was traumatic. I was living in hell with other bad people wrapped around me like flies on a piece of fly trap paper. The pain is still fresh as it wasn't too long ago. I don't want Jackson to feel the same way while he's smiling into a camera somewhere. I hope he actually loves the fact he made it to 30 and is hopeful about the next 30 years to come.
The title of this song is Dopamine and in the science world it can have either a positive or negative chemical impact on the human mind. I hope that Jackson has a major positive impact on his mind with his 30th birthday. He made it this far by the grace of the universe and he can live a content life going forward. Even if things don't happen when he'd like them to or in the packages he sees for himself. He's got to believe the right things are happening for him and if he's patient they will keep happening in the order they're supposed to. With the people...or person.. they're supposed to happen with. Please don't be sad, Jackson. I beg you. Don't give up on yourself or your dreams.

I know he won't see any of this, but maybe if I put my thoughts out into the universe an angel somewhere will.whisper some of this in his ear and he will feel better than perhaps he's currently feeling. Or...who knows? Maybe I'm still a little crazy after all and this is just me being hit with too much DOPAMINE. 😊🙏♥️
