One day, far in the future, we'll have a game set in Ancient Rome with the RPG of Ghost of Tsushima, the civilization-building of Sid Meier's Civilization, the government-management of CK III, and the RT Battles of Total War. And we shall finally known gaming perfection. And we shall finally have... Peace...
Man I wish they would make a Roman RPG like Ghost of Tsushima/AC Odyssey and I wish they would make something like Rome Total War or Praetorians but where you could control singular units like in Warcraft III or Age of Empires, just throwing out random ideas for the genre RomeLike :D
I know what you mean but it somehow would destroy the immersion to travel alone as a single legionaire. They were known to fight in formation with multiple colleagues and this would be hard to put it in a rpg.
@@jamreal18 the gameplay is extremely repetitive. Not suprising for a beat em all but this one is particulary abnouxious. But to be fair, this game was primary made to promote the new features of the new console. You know this kind of games that look incredible even 10 years later because it use every graphic power of the machine to obviously sell it better. And those games, at least in my opinion, especially this one that I remember playing with a friend that got it, are fun at the beginning and you are amzaed by the new tech and graphics and then thats it. There is nothing more, even the story is kinda basic so.
I think game developers like obisoft and Sony seriously missed a golden opportunity to make a game about the roman empire, the missed potential is just cringeworthy, how could you not pass it by? They'd rather make stupid ridiculous fantasy games that noone cares about just to cash in
The problem of roman games is how accurate has to be the game, for example both imperator rome and rome total war( I and II) are close but lacks many details, if both combine that will be the best game of Rome
...and every single one of them is pompous and exaggerated in order to glorify Rome and make players feel heroic and godlike. We all know this is the gaming equivalent of owning a truck in the city. I promise you, real roman legionaries didn't need a magnifying glass to find their genitals.

@@jamreal18 it's a beautiful bad game

We just need a Ryse son of Rome 2 😢😢
Yo creo que más necesitábamos una arena multijugador en la primera entrega, dejaron morir muy rápido el juego
I wish a Ryse son of ROme with Rome Total war campaign style.
In what way is a pretty blonde girl swinging a comically oversized sword killing fantasy monsters a "Roman Empire" game?
I was just thinking that 🤔🤔🤔
To be fair it's about as historically authentic as Ryse Son of Rome.
I'm glad to see more games in the Roman era of History.
Roman Triumph reminds me a lot of Feudal Barons Kings Land.
I hope we get some Roman Republic games. A much overlooked but really important period.
I want an ancient greece game like odyssey and naval combat.
CK3 mixed with bannerlord would be epic
I wish someone would turn the movie "Gladiator" (with Russell Crowe) into a game. 🙏👍❤️💯
Roman empire wars je l'attend avec impatience !
Oh! Pax Augusta looks really promising!
I want that one!
Builders of Egypt looks similar but its Ancient Egypt

Roman Empire Wars seems to be te most interresting.
if you want to be authentic then why are all the statues white? they were painted...
How do you know?
@@kapitan19969838 umm. because of historical records...
I am exiceted for Anno: Pax Romana because i know everytime UBI did ANNO game they make it great
Roma Invicta ! ! Roma Invicta ! !
I want to see these games getting made for Xbox also as I have been on Xbox for over 15 years and don't see much good rts games
Strength and honor 🤝
And of course mine ... 😍🤣
Rome: Nightmares of Empire is also a game about Rome :)
How is the second one Roman in any way,
Still waiting for a gladiator game something between chivalry 2 and for honor.
Lost legions looks like this land is my land but with romans instead of native Americans and thats sounds fantastic
Based on the click areas, I can tell an RPG game is most wanted.
Expeditions: Rome was amazing. Too bad it will probably never get a sequel
I would love Rome Expeditions 2 and Ryse Son of Rome 2 (or similar)...
Roman expedition with blacks? 😀 Sorry i would never suport unhistorical bs

Nothing on PS5 only PC games, what a shame.
Roma incognita is a Commandos in Roman sauce
Roma Invicta!
What about Nova Roma?
Total war Rome 2...
Nice list but games are not upto the mark and dont worth time in 2025...for example look at ryse or totoal war rome 2 as an example how great are they

Then i can't even wishlist the first game because the game is unavailable in Germany, sometimes i hate this country
Hell yes lets god😮😮😮😮😮😊
El único juego interesante para mí es el de We Are Legion, el resto nada.
All look rubbish we need a part 2 for ryse son of Rome
So no good games upcoming. Noted
Uno peggiore dell'altro....
Questi giochi fanno schifo
