I'm an old fart who was in the industry, watched it evolve and even fished a few times and to not see some kind of 'transducer' was surreal. Looks like a great crew. Cherish these experiences..ya's only live once!
John and Sam what an amazing video fellas!!! You definitely caught me off guard going to Alaska to ice fish for sure!! I guess I won’t be seeing John,BW,and grass in an ice video for a while since you two are in Alaska!!! Maybe those two will head out to Alaska and join you and Sam make an awesome ice fishing video together??? I definitely can’t wait to see Nick and Brandon’s video of them two in Alaska doing the same thing!!!
Please come to Lake Simcoe in Ontario. Off of bear point you will hook into lakers that would blow your mind, also the lake is known for jumbo perch as well up to 2lb or more. January would be the best bet
Question on camera gear, are you leaving your camera outside and just taking battery’s out? How are you dealing with steam on the lens when going in and out of the icehouse? Great work fellas🤙🏾
I unfortunately had certain video tapes that would slow down due to the cold. Unfortunately I didn't check in the morning. Jon, did you find a camera housing wrap to keep it warm. 20:02 give him the beans son. Darn ice on the line🤪
@@MinnDakOutdoorsI don’t even have any snow on the ground here anymore, been a warm one lately! King fishing and crabbing has been phenomenal though in the bay!
can you really call it first ice when it is that thick, and you are going in snowmobiles? first ice appears to have been a few weeks if not a month or more ago lol
Wouldn't make for a good video if you don't get to see the fish. They're sticking their hands in the water to try and land because it's tough to get the head first up through the hole.
Eskimo is smart to sponser these guys and NB edits. The two best channels. Now back to the walleye!
Appreciate u so much ❤️

Ok og
can you really call it first ice when it is that thick, and you are going in snowmobiles? first ice appears to have been a few weeks if not a month or more ago lol
First ice for us
@@MinnDakOutdoors ahhh fair play then!
Y U NO KEP LAK TRUT?!?!?!?!
Because clayton was greasy enough for me
If you’re not keeping fish, why so much emphasis (sticking hands in water) on trying to land them. Coming from a non Ice fisherman
Wouldn't make for a good video if you don't get to see the fish. They're sticking their hands in the water to try and land because it's tough to get the head first up through the hole.
Please never do the boom thing again. It’s so cringey and I turned the video off as soon as you started
BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM
