The boat segments and the lore tabelts were great, built so well into hyping up Thor, especially with Atreus quietly commenting towards the end, "..a lot of these stories seem to end with Thor showing up and killing everyone, don't they?!"

As well as the portion of Atreus and Kratos in the caves of giants, where Kratos makes a comment saying they must have been not very big to fit in those caves, and Atreus explains to him that giants are a "race" and not literal giants (even though some giants, like the World Serpent, are very much gigantic) - would have loved for this guy to elaborate on that scene.

My working theory about the Realms and their inhabitants is that they simply traveled around the world. There could have been larger trees, a few of which were incredibly old and likely maintained by the land’s inhabitants out of either religious or general respect for nature. The “World Tree” or however it’s pronounced might have been even a giant tree with root systems that connected forests, or maybe they interpreted the larger Trees in different realms as “branches” of it.

    • @BlackDragon12382

The original games were based on Greek mythology, as Kratos is a Spartan. The constant conflict of son killing father, as Zeus killed his father Cronos, and Kratos was actually a son of Zeus (at least in the games). Kratos killed Zeus, but then left the Greek world, and came to the Norse world, where he met his wife and had his son Atreus. That was the whole point of Kratos' statement about ending the cycle, as he killed Baldur.
