Seeing this makes me thinking my own theory. Okay what if the revival book has some conditions and dream has numorous of canon live (we dont know how many), what if when he revived someone, 1 of his canon live will be transfer to the people that he revived, thats why Jschlatt gave the book to him cuz he knew that no one can use the book other than the leader of the SMP him self. So whenever he revived someome, he will get any certain bruises in any part of his body and he can feel their pain too. And I also think because every powerful things in this world can't be free, like you cant just made a deal for free right? there has to be payment or some condition that you must fulfil (And sorry my grammar bad lol)
I don’t really know much but as I remember similar theory when Dream revived someone he get injured in return it could be as a sacrifice in exchange for reviving someone or it’s the book is too powerful that dream will get harmed just from using it
Dream is basically connected to the server and he gets injured sick when someone gets injured or sick or they die and dream gets the injury dream also remembers the memorys who dream revived

I feel so bad for Dream in this video, they ask him to revive Ranboo and leave immediately after it is done, without saying anything or checking or Dream, I mean... It's like some people said in the comments, theories about the fact that they know there is a revive book, but don't know how it works, they just assume that it's easy and free to use, and only Dream (and probably Jschlatt, sorry if a misspelled it..) knows that it has a great coast, so that's why he doesn't want to give it to anyone. Between the suffer coming from the revive book, and the theory that since Dream is the host, he feels the pain of the server, I think we all want to justify his actions by a unknown pain that only he knew...
@@RainbowDrop I can't denied it, but (and I say that as I don't fully follow the lore) everyone as make mistake, maybe Dream as made the worst (killed a kid as Tommy wasn't right) but I think that Dream POV was never showed in the lore so technically nobody knows his motivations, his deeper thought etc, he wants right, yes, but neither the others I think

That au would technically even make sense in the lore because it would explain why Dream never killed Tommy with a sword to test the revival book, but with his hand (or with a potato, lol). He wouldn't feel as much pain during the revival because a punch wouldn't hurt as much as being stabbed with a sword. Dream also gets tommy's memories, which makes sense since Dream strangely knows a lot about Tommy. (This would be my theorie, if this would actually be canon) Btw the "ReliveDreAU" is a really cool idea and the execution is just incredible, same for your Character design! I would love to see more parts of this AU ❤️
