Haha! cheers bro, yeah quite good fun now and then, mind you I'm pleased i'm not restricted to those speeds and the lack of quickness, and lets face it I'd miss the sound of a big bike too, RSM8.
The rattle might be the paniers. I had a Jinlun Texan which is basically the same bike and the paniers closed and locked but i wouldnt say tightly. So i put one of those window draft exclusion sticky strips and lined the inside of the paniers with it, fixed the rattle straight away :)
I'd already taken the panniers off at this point, i nailed it down to being a loose bracket holding the speedo clock on and a bit of something the previous owner had put under that plastic tub under the seat, took me ages to find though, cheers buddy, RSM8.
I have asked what the "flishy flashy red lighty thingy wotsit" is on a couple of 125 and Chinese bike pages on FB, I will let you know if I get any sensible answers.
Se iluminaba cuando te llamaban al móvil en los teléfonos viejos, creo que con los nuevos no funciona. Translated, It was lit when they called you on the phone in the old phones, I think the new ones don't work
Somebody else also reported that the light can be activated by other radio signals and electric pylons, the consensus seems that it was just some crappy gimmick thing to indicate that older style mobile phones were ringing.
@@KarlTheDingbat That sounds about right Karl, the bloody think does appear to flash whenever it wants, so change of cell tower signal etc. would explain a lot, it's quite off putting in the dark with a bloody flashy light on the clocks rights where your trying to see the speedo "apparently" I wouldn't know as only ridden it in the day, Many many thanks and RSM8,
I think the blinking red light is flashing morse code, albeit greatly slowed down. I think if you decode the blinks it says "Help me. I'm trapped in a Chinese speedometer factory. Send help!". That's why there's a picture of a phone on it, he wants you to call for help 😀
First of all sorry bro, read your comment when you wrote it and about pissed myself, lol, but I swear I replied, knowing me I did but closed it down thinking I'd pressed reply on the comment, whoops! lets face it your explanation is as good as any other, lol, RSM8.
I've always wondered how far could you actually travel on one of these 125cc bikes? Over 100miles or less without it overheating. I think that phone icon is some sort of weird bluetooth icon. Maybe it lights up when your phones ringing. See if your phones bluetooth picks up a signal from the bike. 🏍
I did many many miles when I was younger on the Honda CB100N I think the furthest I did in one continuous trip, was about 75 miles but the most in a day would have been from Mansfield Notts to Ace Café London and back, now that was a long day, I think you may be wring about the light all though I think it tells you when you receive a message text call or even just a signal change lol, RSM8.
Totally agree, we had more fun on them too, I had some lovely 125 and 100cc four strokes back in the day, some of the new ones these days are being limited to 12bhp thanks to Cat 5 Reg's, thanks & RSM8.
Nice to hear from you mate. I’m glad we don’t have to deal with M.O.T. In Canada. Be safe out there mate.
Cheers bro, yeah no MOT sounds great to be fare, after all we still want bikes to be safe just look and sound how we want, lol, RSM8.
Nice Buzz about Skeggy 😆, took my son's 125 for its last two MOTs I get sneaky ride about on it aswell 😁🤘🏻👍🏻.

Hey mate. 😁😁
Haha! yo bro, hope all's good.
Imagine how „fast“ it would be with me or Andy on it…….🤪. Most important is that it generates fun…ride safe mate…
Haha! probably still quicker than the diesel Enfield, lol, RSM8.
we had the best 125 2 stroke fast as you like but 4 strokes these days are not fun at all
Totally agree, we had more fun on them too, I had some lovely 125 and 100cc four strokes back in the day, some of the new ones these days are being limited to 12bhp thanks to Cat 5 Reg's, thanks & RSM8.
Small bikes are very much fun, but not on that straight roads :D
Cheers Theodor, yes I totally agree, long straight roads on a little buzzy bike not all that much fun at all, lol, RSM8.,
